Hey... Marsh went yard tonight.  Big HR.  Besides, Marsh was brought in to solidify the defense in the outfield, and has done a nice job.

What does Thomson do next?  Stick with Brogdon or turn it over to someone else for 7?   Brogdon got through the toughest part of the lineup already.   Going to have to face them one more time in the 9th.

Yup, insurance (hopefully), but both are a complete liability at the plate right now and it sucks.  We have a gaping hole from 5-9, which is what gives me reservations to compare this team to 2008.  Chooch and Shane were just wild cards on the back half.

Marsh is back cause they gave up Logan their best catching prospect and top 100 prospect for him. I’m hoping they can get him to be a more consistent hitter. Cause his fielding is way better than watch odumbass Herrera

I’d go brogdon for another inning. Then if it’s still 7-0 or we have more than 7 possibly try nelson for an inning. Although that’s dangerous cause nelson could blow up really fast

🤷‍♂️ Doesn't matter to me.  In the earlier series, they got some nice production from the bottom.  Stott has had a few big hits in timely moments, Segura has been really good.  The way I see it... those guys are just there to keep the pressure on the pitchers and make them work, and if they score, that's so much better.   But, the top of the lineup is where you expect to get runs and win games.  So far, so good this series.  (Game 2 notwithstanding).  

 

Nice hit by Nick.  That puts pressure on their pitching staff with the lead off man on base.
