Marsh is back cause they gave up Logan their best catching prospect and top 100 prospect for him. I’m hoping they can get him to be a more consistent hitter. Cause his fielding is way better than watch odumbass Herrera

If Harper's bat wasn't so hot I'd put him out there, but him DH'n right now is an absolute treat to watch.

The numbers for Hargrave’s, Bradbury, White, and Edwards are all accounted for as active commitments by Spotrac and OTC.  If the Dead Cap goes up the active commitments go down by a equal amount. Either way the Eagles have just under $30 million of available Cap for Howie to work with.

I see what you are saying.  And I think they use to not do that rollup.  I’ll look closer tomorrow when I’m at my computer and not outside watching the game

Not yet for me.  Save him for a lefty matchup.  He might pitch the 9th if they keep this 7 run lead.

Lmao

🤷‍♂️ Doesn't matter to me.  In the earlier series, they got some nice production from the bottom.  Stott has had a few big hits in timely moments, Segura has been really good.  The way I see it... those guys are just there to keep the pressure on the pitchers and make them work, and if they score, that's so much better.   But, the top of the lineup is where you expect to get runs and win games.  So far, so good this series.  (Game 2 notwithstanding).

Nice hit by Nick.  That puts pressure on their pitching staff with the lead off man on base.  :towel:

The back half has been having good at bat/outs very often.  It's timely, but we need to win 2.5 more games!

Harper can’t play the field due to his elbow. He likely needs TJ surgery when this run is over according to Jayson stark. The fact he’s been this ridiculous playing with that injury is amazing.

they bring this Schlebrock in and it is crystal clear they are conceding the game.  Let's goooooo

Absolutely.  2 more games at CBP.  That helps.  This team can rake at CBP.   Harper, Schwarber and Hoskins are on fire at CBP this post-season.

Would this also mean there is not a month off between their conference title game and the playoff games?

It's absolutely stupid there is currently so much time off between games.

Astros are starting Verlander tomorrow?  Do we reset the lineup with a Nola/Ginger Thor 1/2? *Waterboy quote insert*

Eh. I just don't consider anyone on here my "friends." That's not to say I don't have a good time on here, I do. But you guys can talk ponds, pebbles, and ripples...I don't view the EMB that way. If anyone here stopped posting, I may think to myself "good riddance" or "that sucks, they were funny/informative/etc" but a minute later, I'd probably never think about it again.

Not engaged. Sorry for you about that. Potential.

This place can be fun and informative. What you choose to make of it...:angel

I think it will be Syndergaard in Game 4 with a bullpen game backing him up.  That was the plan for Game 3 before... so might as well keep that and let Nola have the extra day.  He always does better with the proper rest and this season they kept him on a strict schedule of starts.

Would love to see Jean get a little knock here to score 2.  Even a fly ball to score one is huge.

Makes sense, I was looking at CBS and I'm assuming they didn't update from the rain delay.

Boo Jean.  Not good enough there.  Needed to get it on the ground or to the outfield.

Yup. Nola/Syndergaard/Wheeler unless it changes.

Who am I to argue with the Manager of the Year?

Yeah the Astros kept their rotation the way it was. Phillies changed it. I still think it’s nola tomorrow. If they win game 4 i wouldn’t be surprised if wheeler goes game 5. The splits between wheeler at home and away are pretty big. He has a 3.84 road era and 1.85 at home
