I agree that it will not be Marvin Wilson.  His value can be readily realized by elevating him from the Practice Squad on a week by week basis.  I also agree that Chachere makes sense if he is going to stay up and be used each week as an active.

The recent punt return reps for DeVonta may be a signal that Covey is headed back to the Practice Squad.

This isn’t the first time they had Smith back there so I wouldn’t read too much into that. I think the plan all along has been to use DeVonta in situations where the other team is backed up and he might have a short field. I would be shocked if they released Covey. In case anyone hadn’t noticed , the kick return game has been a lot better once he took over for Quez. No more sideways returns that fail to get to the twenty yard line.

Weird stat, but I think I heard there's only been one kick/punt return TD this year. That has to be well below average.

Other than maybe the Packers since they can run the ball, we shouldn't need Davis to win those games. We should be 8 in the box against GB (Gannon will still not do it).

He is back for the Titans. That is honestly all that matters.

Only 43% of the punts league-wide have been returned, and the average return is only 8.8 yards.

Is there a stat for missed blocks on ST? Also, what is Covey's return yard average for the season?

I doubt he’s back that soon

So Davis on IR, anyone getting elevated from PS?

Sounds a little optimistic right now.  He could be back, but we'll have to see how the rehab and recovery goes.

We need the Chip Smoothies.

Overall regarding our STs, we are league-neutral when we are kicking the ball - FG, XP, KO, and Punts.

It is our return game that is abysmal.  I get the sense that coaches are OK with that as long as we don't turn the ball over.

I can’t imagine the size of the smoothie for that man

It's the one on the far left.   Roughly the same size as a small child.

Up to you, you made the statement, I gave you bet terms.  Take it or leave it.

Your bet terms altered the original bet too heavily in your favor. Do you accept the terms I countered?

Ahh, and the other shoe dropped.

It would also help if opposing punters weren't averaging almost 4.8 seconds of hangtime. The league average is generally around 4.45 or so. It's ridiculous how long this has been going on. Kinda reminds me of that streak a few years back when opposing kickers never missed when attempting field goals from beyond 55 yards. That was insane.

I can’t imagine he can run from that. Even selling the team, he’s the one who performed said accusations.

I would guess he’s doing this because he knows he’s horribly guilty and wants to get out of the NFL as quickly as possible to deal with this fully. Which would also imply he’s confident the NFL wouldn’t have his back if he stayed

You said total yards, to reach a total yards goal, you have to play in enough games.

My add on was more than fair with the statement you made.

I got wings last night, and the Phils hit five dingers. Do I dare get them again?

I don’t agree.

I stated flat out top 15. This runs 2 risks:

1. The 17 players ahead of his projected pace could run into a rash of injuries and CeeDee ends up finishing 12th almost by default.

2. CeeDee gets injured himself, ends up 28th.

My original bet proposition recognized the possibility of risk on either side of the bet that would have sunk it beyond the original intent of the bet. A "gamble”

You countered with an Amendment that absolved you of all risk but decline to do the same on the other side. My counter was the original bet, top 15 yards and with your terms but also recognizing risk 1 as well

Simply eliminating risk 2 in your favor while requiring risk 1 be present in the bet is not "more than fair.”

Do you dare NOT get them?

No stat for missed blocks.  Covey has returned 16 punts for 104 yards, which is a 6.5 average.  He has fair caught 15 punts.

His game by game totals are:

Pittsburgh 1 punt for 5.0 yards
Dallas  1 punt for 14 yards
Arizona 3 punts for a 7.3 yard average return
Jacksonville 1 punt for 2.0 yards
Washington 5 punts for a 6.8 yard average return
Minnesota 3 punts for a 4.7 yard average return
Detroit 2 punts for a 6.5 yard average return

If I have it right and Snyder is accused of holding back proceeds that rightly belonged to the league (other owners) I would hardly expect them to have his back.
