Please try to be more thorough when describing your drinking habits. This is no good. 👀

Bought wings hoping for dingers, now I’m left with heartburn.

Ah what time is it?

damn i should’ve taken the under at .5 hits for the Phillies

As I said in game 1 this one’s over

def past 5.

Are they really going to get no-hit tonight?

The Phillies haven’t hit anything hard at all. Would be different if they had good ABs and they just weren’t finding grass. Javier has been good, but the Phils really, letting him off the hook. Not like he’s throwing smoke out there.

Sorry the correct answer was:

The clock on the wall says three oclock

Smoltz is a bit of a blow hard, but he’s right about the unusual release point and angle.  They aren’t seeing the ball out of his hand at all.  That’s the only way to be this far off a guy topping out at 95 with unspectacular breaking pitches.

He HAS a breaking pitch?

Still can’t believe Alvarado hit someone on pitch 1 against bases loaded. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen such a blunder.

Nola is going to get killed tomorrow and he shouldn’t. 3 ERs against a great lineup is fine. People are going to kill him because they got caught all up in this destiny crap and expected him to come into tonight with a red cape and throw 8 shutout innings.

He had one bad inning and Alvarado was worse in that inning than he was. Granted, Nola wasn’t great, but if the offense actually ya know, showed up, it was good enough to be in position to win.

I'd argue his pitch selection wasn't great for certain hitters in the Trashtroes lineup. I wasn't expecting 8 shutout innings.

There is a huge gap between 8 shutout innings and 4 IP, 3ER, a lot of hard outs, and that kind of exit.

It was back to back to back bad starts from him.

There shouldn’t be any scapegoats in a miraculous run like this, but if there is, it’ll be Nola.

The way their talking Javier up, we should just hand him the 2023 Cy Young now

Why does Dusty Baker wear gloves that look like he's working a BBQ pit and getting ready to tear a pig apart?

He might be sick or cold. Saw him blowing his nose earlier.
