FWIW, I don't really think about Easterby since he was fired. He was terrible but he's gone.

In this case a Texans player during Eagles - Texans week is missing the game for personal reasons, and being from Houston I know what those personal reasons are. Its like how I knew rain is what postponed the Phillies game on Monday. Am I holding resentment towards rain too? You can't tell the current Brandon Cooks story without explaining his rage over Easterby's firing.

Ignore is for people who are out of control in the moment or people who tend to be over the top vulgar but not directed at anyone.

That is unless the vulgarity cracks you up. To each their own.

I probably have 5-10 Hurts haters on ignore. There are probably 5-10 McNabb lovers with me on ignore.

None of us are breaking rules but we are never going to be interested in the other's opinion.

Ignore 2 or 3 people in a gameday thread if they are yelling back and forth and won't stop.

Just put him on your Ignore list.  Then you won't have to see his personal insults.

Yup.   That's how baseball works.  Phillies are in a bit of a hole, because they have 1 home game and Astros have 2.  Best of 3 and the Phillies' best pitcher is a question mark.  They are likely going with a bullpen game in their home park, where they have their best chance to win.   So, they are underdogs yet again.  But, they've been that the whole playoffs.   Nothing new there.

Win tonight and they get two shots at knocking off the Astros at home to win the Series.   Lose tonight and it is a really uphill battle to pull it out.  The series didn't swing on last night's game.  Last night's game would have tilted the series dramatically in the Phils' favor.  The loss put the Phillies on their heels.  But, they still have a great opportunity tonight with the home field advantage to pull out a win and get back in the driver's seat.  Astros haven't lost two consecutive games this whole post-season... but neither have the Phillies.  They just need to mash the ball tonight.  Win a track meet game and put the pressure squarely on the Astros when they return to Houston.
