Well the Saints waved him, and the Eagles made a claim and picked him up. So I don’t know about you, but I think I’d choose the team that took a chance on me, rather than the one that let me go.

🤔. The Saints drafted him... taking a chance on him.   And if the Eagles waive him to put him on the PS, how is that different from what the Saints did?

Hey BigE sorry for snapping at you yesterday, was a long day of snapping and you were at the tail end of it, I had a specific purpose In posting the last two days which was to draw the mods attention to the nonsense in the blog without pm'ing the mods or reporting anyone to the mods.

They directly replied to me on the blog told me they heard my complaints and so forth, I felt heard and acknowledged by them , mission accomplished and I let it go.

Shortly after you replied to me and I snapped back which I shouldn't have so I'm sorry, you have always been respectful to me as a poster which I appreciate and I don't want to make it a habit of disrespecting those on here that are respectful to me and others.

Have a great eagles day!

$245m. Lol. That is a stupid contract

$49mil per year average.

That should kill the Broncos cap for years.

Tom Brady sacrificed salary for years so the Patriots could build a winning team.

Wilson should do like Brady and take less pay (while marrying the richest supermodel on the planet).

So the Blue Jays have been running a promo this year, Tuesday home games they sell hot dogs for a loonie ($1). This past Tuesday, they sold a season high 45,642 dogs.

On Sept 13, they have a day/night doubleheader against the Rays, and I'm going to the night game. Here's hoping we collectively crush over 100k hot dogs in one day!

Wonder how much the patriots would want for Rhamondre Stevenson

Too much. But damn I would love to have him. Boomer Sooner.

I think a lot of that depends on Cox and Hargrave's health.   At the 4i position, he's behind both of them.   And rightly or wrongly, this team often allows salary to dictate playing time.  Both make far more than he does, so they will get the lionshare.  He might jump up closer to 50% though if they go with a 3 man rotation for the 4i position, where he's flipping side to side.  Also, when they go to a 4 man front rather than this 3-4 hybrid, I think think he'll get some snaps on the strong side at DE.

Exactly how I see Milton being used this year. Some 4i and some DT. He gets another year under his belt then he replaces Cox or Hargrave next year as there’s no way they’re both back.

How can these teams afford to put any talent around the QBs when they are putting so much money into them?

Peter Schrager is a dope.  He's talking up someone from the Lions.  Hmmm....maybe it has something to do with the Lions being on Hard Knocks.  You really see Peter Schrager as the type to do a deep dive into the Lions roster?  Yeah...me neither.

None story.

I can’t see him being able to do a pullup. He’s a non-listen on anything.

I've never cared about the Broncos much.  I liked Elway and loved those games between him and Cleveland.  But this gives me plenty of reason to root against them.  This ish needs to stop.  I hope that contract blows up in their face.

This crap will convince some moron to pay a glorified running back in Jalen Hurts 40mill per.

How can it not blow up in their face?

That should set Lamar straight if he thinks  Baltimore or any other team is gonna give him a Deshaun Watson $200 million plus guaranteed contract, it’s not happening.

🤔. Is that the criteria for being able to discuss football, or anything else for that matter?

If they win the Super Bowl, I'd say it's worth it. I'm sure part of Wilson agreeing to go there had to have hinged on a mega extension being signed at some point.

Speaking of the Jays, I am in a pool through one of my suppliers, top two prizes are a Jeter autographed world series ball and a Cal Ripken autographed bat.

The Jays are the weak link for me in that pool right now, your boys need to get their ish together.

As far as morning shows go, it's a good one.  They're all likable enough and it's lighthearted.  But it's hardly the place to go to get legit football talk.  Come to think of it, I barely watch ESPN or NFLN now.  Except when there are games on.

Kyle Brandt is awesome.  Another guy carving out a successful career after getting his start with Jim Rome.

That's welterweight stuff.     In high school a buddy of mine got a buy a large pizza, get a large pizza free deal.  I ate mine.  He ate half of his.  So, I finished it.   Then we went out for ice cream.

Made a bet with another friend at an event in high school that was feeding us 'backyard BBQ' type grub... all you could eat.   My friend said that he could eat 12 of the burgers.  I said, "that's easy."   So, the bet was on - no stakes, just bragging rights.   He grabbed four burgers and put ketchup on them.  I grabbed 3 and did the full toppings, lettuce, tomato, etc.  A little potato salad, little mac salad.  At that.  He went back for 4 more burgers.  I got 3 more, and some french fries.  He tapped out after the 8.   I went back to get 3 more, but saw they had some fruit salad too.  Grabbed a little of that this time.  He decided to tie me with 9, so he ran back for one more.   When I finished that plate.   I went up for 3 more, and a brownie.  The look on his face was priceless as I finished the brownie.

I've slowed down tremendously, which is a good thing, as my metabolism isn't what it once was either.   But, back in my teens/early 20s... a trip to the buffet was a 3 hour affair.

You put maple syrup on them and stick em up each other’s bums while saying "come on, guy”

Speaking of and circling back, everyone talking about Russell Wilson not wanting to come to Philly because of Ciara and her career was absurd.  Philly is a couple hours from New York, couple hour flight from her roots in Atlanta.  But they end up in Denver, the entertainment capital of America :roll::roll::roll:

I’m the same way. I feel like my stomach has shrunk in recent years. My belly hasn’t, but my stomach, yes. Not sure how that works.

And hell yeah on the shrimp. Especially with a great cocktail sauce.
