I don't mind him.  He panders.....a lot.  But like I said, plenty likable.

Rome is a doooosher.

Rome is the GOAT of sports talk radio.  JT the Brick got his radio gig off the strength of his phone calls to the Jim Rome show, including his call that won the first smack off.

I have listened to Jim Rome every day since 1995.   When I got my first job out of college, the daily routine for a bunch of us at work was Jim Rome, the Don and Mike show and then Papa Joe Chevalier.  RIP Papa Joe, my favorite Cowboy hater.

Jesus Christ man....are you a hefty fella? Or skinny fat?

Back then I was 6'4" and about 170 lbs.   Now I am about 6'3.5" and about 235lbs.  I'd like to lower that a bit.

Well I didn't know we were talking about when we were teenagers.  Hell yeah I would eat a ton in HS.  Skinny as a rail too.   My BestF and I used to walk the mall in the 80's and hit up Taco Bell.  $.29/$.39.  We'd get 10 soft shells and destroy them for a late lunch only to go home and eat dinner a few hours later.  Why?  For the challenge, like a bunch of idiots.

Now a trip to the buffet is a waste of money to be honest.  You can't eat that much food.  The only benefit is the variety.  20 years ago I would go to a chinese buffet at least 3 times a week.  I do miss those.  Love that ish.

My first job at 16 was at a Godfathers Pizza.  Me and a friend once a week would go get food on our break at KFC.

10 chicken little sandwiches each and a bucket of gravy, and make short work of it, then when the buffet closed at 8, the manager would point and Drew and I would go finish off all the Pizza.

Welp...nice knowing you.

I can do a couple pull ups these days.   Not as many as I used to though.

If they win the Super Bowl, I'd say it's worth it. I'm sure part of Wilson agreeing to go there had to have hinged on a mega extension being signed at some point.

Their roster isn't nearly talented enough for that, IMO.  They will be lucky to even squeak into the playoffs.

I always talk a big game.  Then two hot dogs in and I'm done.  Hell, I used to be able to crush a medium pizza on my own.

But give me 2 lbs of peel and eat shrimp and get the f out of the way.

I can eat endless amounts of sushi.

Used to be an all you can eat sushi place we went to and I'd just stop when my wife was full, she'd have maybe 2 rolls and I'd be working on like my sixth and still not full.🤷‍♂️

I live in NC and every time we go to the beach I hit up a seafood market and get fresh 16/20's and bring them home and freeze them.    Such a big difference compared to the regular grocery store crap.  Cocktail sauce needs extra horseradish for me.

You're a big un.  I am 6'2" 235.  But I have a large crank so that makes up for it.

I’m not big on overly spicy stuff, but cocktail sauce with shrimp does need a good kick to it. Shrimp alone is too bland, so it sucks when someone has a bland sauce with it.

Rams QB Jim Everett as he kept calling him Chris in reference to Chris Everett Lloyd the female tennis player.

$49mil per year average.

That should kill the Broncos cap for years.

Tom Brady was paid under the table by Kraft for years so the Patriots could build a winning team.

Wilson should do like Brady and take less pay (while marrying the richest supermodel on the planet).

FYP

Never gets old.

Correct.  Imagine being a pro QB getting so upset over something so stupid.  Oh wait a minute, people react like that in the blog every day.

I disagree. They have an awesome running game, 2 good WRs, and the second best scoring defense in the NFL last year (even with playing in THAT division).

Not saying they’re the SB favorites, but if they don’t make the playoffs then something went wrong

I wish he would have nailed him a lot harder

Chris is kinda soft, that is the best he had.  Plus, you can't really assault someone on live TV.

I can eat an endless amount of wings from certain places(I've become a wing snob).

I used to be able to eat a ton of wings, not so much anymore but I really love wings, my 5 year old girls make up for the wings I can't eat anymore

They get done and they're covered in sauce head to toe, straight in the bath ...

We just got a Wing Stop opened up here, I understand it's a US chain. Had it....wasn't that impressed.

My fave these days is BBQin my own wings

You could back then.  But then again, Rome won't be able to say that ish now.  Some women's group would protest.

He still calls out those that are soft, but he is so established now and has so many connections in so many leagues that he is pretty much untouchable at this point.

His week on Super Bowl row is always top notch.  Friday he has Holly Robinson Peete on, that chick knows her football.
