Their pitchers are better than ours. But we knew that going in

Much, much better.

But not an error, technically, because he got an out.  Awful defense.

What makes it worse is these aren’t like hard plays to make for just an average fielding first baseman. He’s having trouble with stuff that an average first baseman defensively should make. It’s still 2-1 right now if he makes that play

I definitely would try to lock up CGJ. I’m still concerned about extending Hargrave at his age.

As much as I hate Thursday night games, I love getting a win on Thursday night, knowing that no one can gain ground on us on Sunday.

plus i can get a jump on my honey do list for the weekend

Yeah CGJ and Bradberry, if poss, are the priorities for me.

One run seemed like a mountain. Now two. Can’t give up any more. The upcoming hitters. Yikes. This has all the feels of an elimination game because it essentially is.

Consistently productive DT’s have an excellent career span. They have one of the longest shelf life’s in football

Howie is gonna offer him safety money, and CJG's agent will tell him to test the market probably as he's technically a corner playing safety.

Hoskins hand eye coordination is special education level.

I have no idea who hoskins is I'm guessing the baseball game but this made me laugh.

I played WR/DB in high school wasn't fast or big but I had pretty good hands but for whatever reason I couldn't track a baseball worth a damn, especially at night?

Don't know if it's the lights or the spin of the ball but yeah I'm special Ed level when it comes to fielding a fly ball.🤷‍♂️

Very much so.  He flubbed 'routine' type plays.

I think they'll get it done. I think he's the kind of player this team wants around.

I’d probably let Bradberry walk too, unless he wants to give us a team-friendly deal. Signing 30-year-olds to big contracts is risky.

The further we get, the more bad teams will overpay for our players. Remember the contracts Trey Burton, Patrick Robinson, and Beau Allen got after 2017

I think pre game coaches told Mills to ignore Slay.

What'd he see, one target that was incomplete over throw?

I have zero faith in the offense showing up for two straight games at this point so I agree.

Jalen Hurts has 11 straight regular season wins. Extending the record. And 8-0 for the 1st time in team history. Not all him. Howie deserves GM of the years and Sirianni deserves coach of the year. At this point.

Yeah can't argue there. I'd be very nervy with Slay also on a big deal and being older than Bradberry.

That felt like a miracle inning with Robertson

Safety money is getting close to corner money.  And he's more a nickel than an outside.  Very different market.  Safety market is more lucrative than nickel.

He wanted to move to safety because they make more than nickelbacks.

It was a ground ball down the first baseline, tipped the side of his glove. Hoskins is known for his sub par defense. It's hard af tracking a baseball in centerfield.

Yup.  Hard decision to make, but it's the right call.  There needs to be a line for how much to pay him.  Can't exceed it.

If I can only keep one in the secondary it’s CJGJ
