And agree to sign... he would be free to sign anywhere.   BUT, since his former college coach worked for one year with the Eagles HC and OC, I'm sure we have an inside track on getting him to John Hancock the contract.

The Book acquisition remains an enigma to me.  Makes no sense.   Putting in a claim for Mond also makes very little sense to me.

Could be a kick the tires move. If flat, cut.

We kept Sinnett over this?

Yup, the whole strong thing was a clown show by the eagles, not sure what was/ is went wrong???

Like I said yesterday from just watching this short clip of strong he looks good enough to at least get some preseason time to show out but fhr whatever reason the eagles refused to let him see the field.

Just totally bizarre stuff, maybe they did it just to fuel off-season conspiracy theories and increase traffic on the board.

What happens when you eat raw potatoes?

The potential issue comes from a toxic compound known as solanine. This can cause nausea, headache, diarrhea, and in the most severe cases, it can cause death.Jun 8, 2022

TIL that potatoes kill

can promise you, 34 years of eating them and I've never had those issues.

I wonder how many raw potatos you'd have to eat to die.

Please don’t try to find out lol

Mexican food is great down here.  I forgot that.   I’ve heard of Tupelo Honey, have to try it.  But like I said, the country food down here is great.

If you get to Durham, there's a great Mexican sandwich place called Guanjuato on N. Roxboro that is well worth the trip.  There's also Mami Nora's which does Peruvian chicken. They are a small chain with places in Raleigh and Durham.  Both are great lunch places.

So the Blue Jays have been running a promo this year, Tuesday home games they sell hot dogs for a loonie ($1). This past Tuesday, they sold a season high 45,642 dogs.

On Sept 13, they have a day/night doubleheader against the Rays, and I'm going to the night game. Here's hoping we collectively crush over 100k hot dogs in one day!

That’s a lot of hot dogs for the 30 people in attendance.  Joey Chestnut feels more threatened than when he put the chokehold on that jerk.

So what is everyone’s Super Bowl picks? I actually have a tougher time picking the NFC then I do the AFC. I just think it’s buffalo’s time in the AFC. I think the loss to the Chiefs in the playoffs is going to motivate them and stick with them all year to prove a point. And I just really love the roster. And I think they’re gonna get home-field advantage which is good I mean a lot in the playoffs

in the NFC I just have a feeling that one of the Rams or Bucs are not going to be there at the end. I think there’s gonna be some sort of team we didn’t expect in the NFC championship game against one of those two teams. I’d probably take tampa due to the Brady factor and Stafford having an elbow concern and hard to repeat.

so i have Buffalo and tampa which is likely the two Vegas favorites.

That was the most video we have seen of him. Such a strange situation.

I posted yesterday how I don't see all the love for Williams. But I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised by him this year.

I was looking at stats, and an oddity jumps at me....we ran 1075 offensive plays last year...and our defense faced 1076 plays against them.

I clicked over to Tampa, they ran 1139 offensive plays and faced 1093 opposing offensive plays.

That's 3.76 more plays a game than us on O, and 1.05 plays on d more than us.

Of our 1076 defensive snaps, Williams played 456, or 41%.

Do you see that number increasing for him? If so, do you think it's a significant increase? Does he get to say, 60%? I wouldn't think so based on the rotation we'll be using. Without a significant increase in his snaps, or even if he remains around 40%, does he have the opportunity to be as good as some are hoping?

The total percentage of snaps that DTs get will be more than 200% (the snaps of a traditional DTs times 2) because we will deploy Davis as a nose with a 4i DT on each side of him. So, the total snaps percentage to divide between the 5 DTs would be 200% plus the percentage of plays where Gannon deploys Davis as the NT. My wildass guess is 40% ... so the total percentage of snaps to be split between the 5 DTs is 240%.

In traditional pairings I would pair Hargrave with Davis and Williams with Cox.  Another possibility is Hargrave and Cox as one pair and Davis and Williams as the other pair.  Which pairing would you use if you were Gannon?

For the NT - 4i configuration, who are the 4i players typically?

Armed with answers to those questions we can get an approximate snaps percentage for each of the 5 DT players.

They have 0 credible RB depth.

2 of their QBs are completely worthless (Book and Sinnett)

They have 0 returners on the roster.

You know which 1 man can fix ALL of those issues?

Bowden.

I talked to someone in the last about pellet grills and they recommended a pit boss one to me but I can't remember which one it was.

Wife is on board with replacing our 14 year old Weber genesis since it isn't getting gas and lighting anymore. I was thinking about maybe getting a pellet grill.
