Last time we saw the Eagles play a game on Sunday was October 16th and we won't get to see them play on Sunday again until November 20th.

Huh? We literally just saw them play on Sunday a week ago.

Maybe he moved his clocks by a week and not just an hour.

Always hard to achieve and in their division there are the Braves and Mets.

Yes but they weren't suppose to be here yet. This team is ascending.

If the reports are true about what the Rams offered for Burns and McCaffrey then they really are nuts.

Two 1sts and a 2nd for Burns?  That's insane.  Carolina is stupid for not doing it.

The Rams don't have a 1st round pick till 2040.

He don’t care he is leaving for the booth if it fails which it sure looks like it’s going to.

Miraculous recovery for Kadarius Toney. Kudos to the Chiefs medical staff.

A really good breakdown of our offense by one of our former qbs.

He brings up some interesting points, especially on how our tendencies can be used to create explosive plays.

One example he used was the deep ball to quez against the vikings, which was open because the safety thought jalen was throwing the deep out to goedert. It was a good example of hurts reading the defense and making them pay for guessing wrong.

I would take Josh McCown as our OC in a heartbeat. Always liked him as a coach/leader. If we somehow lose Shane, Josh would be the first phone call I would make. I always felt Doug was a very good HC but very poor OC. After the the 2019 season the Eagles should have forced Doug to take on Josh as the OC and take over game scheming, scripting etc.

The famous "What if"

Now just if we could lose Jonathon at the end of the year. Imagine this defensive talent with a good DC leading the charge. We can only hope there was a connection on why the Eagles brought in Vic Fangio as an "consultant" this off season.

I assume you mane Shane Steichen.

You won't have this collection of talent next year sadly. So much of the defense is a rental or on it's last year

Not saying this is a fact, but have you considered maybe the talent is not as good as you think it is ??

I can see Howie resigning Johnson, Epps(cheap) and White. Possibly Graham as well if he wants to take a friendly discount deal. Maybe Bradberry depending on his contract and how they feel about McPhearson. I don;t see Cox, Quinn or Edwards in the future. Quinn and Cox will want too big on deals for their age, Edwards has been solid but can be replaced with possibly Dean in his second year. The increased cap and any carry over into next year will be a help for sure.

The cap anticipated growth has been added to the cap sites for next year and it's still a thin line. We've kicked the can down the road for a long time. Not saying howie can't do it, but to sign both Johnson and Bradberry would be financially strapping without filling up the rest of the roster.  I forget how many positions we need to fill, but I believe it's in the 20s. Say you draft 6, still leaves 14+ and a few we are losing are staples to what we are accomplishing this year. Not sure if Dean is the automatic answer to take over Edwards either.

I like Edwards but feel he is a weakness on this starting lineup, esp on passing down. No one knows if Dean is the answer cause no one has seen him play with the starters yet. Only one way to tell. Either way Edwards I don;t see be a long term answer as a starter in a coverage scheme so someone has to be given the chance over him next year.

Brian Johnson would be OC if he doesn't leave before Steichen does. McCown has no business stepping right in as OC.

If Edwards is a weakness, that speaks volumes of how good this team is. I think Edwards may not be able to run step for step, but his zone coverage is actually pretty good. Dean I think is very line dependent and that line may be missing 2 good DTs and a starting DE next year. I'm not against drafting another DT first round next year and free Dean up to roam, but I don't think of him at this moment as a shoe in like the rest of league felt that way about him during the draft.

I didn't say the Eagles would do it, I said he would be my choice. And McCown has just as much right as anyone. You see it all the time in todays NFL taking chances on smart minds that understand the game and how to coach people.

I can't think of a time when a former player walked straight into an OC role without coaching in the college or the pros

DT is a option, so is RT, RG or even DE in the first round. Our pick will be later in the round so its how to players fall really. Im a true believer in take the best player available(with a few exceptions of course). The Saints pick if high could be a great chance to trade back and gain additional picks in this and future drafts. But yes both lines need help for the future. Lane is getting older, Isaac is a FA, Cox, Graham both FAs. Could also see CB. The biggest question will be QB though still. Does Howie want to pay Hurts a massive deal or let him play our his rookie deal first or use him as trade bait and draft a QB? Still so many question marks on what Howie and Lurie want to do in that position.

Always a first. Texans, yes I know the Texans had McCown as one of two finalists for the HC spot. I can see someone some day taking that chance on promoting a player to a Cord position without being a position coach. Im sure it has even been done in the past, just maybe not recently.

Though up to this point I wouldn't call myself the biggest Hurts supporter, I can't see Howie pulling the trigger at QB.... now if there is a QB everybody wants and we can cash it in for multiple first round picks to keep stocking up...that would be a Howie move nobody would complain too much about. If we stay put and a game changing DE or a stout Tackle is there....would definitely go that direction. I am not huge on giving QBs contracts we can't escape after a few years, but that's how the NFL works at this point

Someone hates the Seahawks. Making them fly all the way to Germany? That's about as long of a flight as you can get.
