  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Not so much for the Ravens offense though.

Kyle Hamilton finally made a play!

aaaaaaand it’s gone

That was really weak DPI

That's not PI. Maybe holding, but ticky tack at best.

Let's go. Just need the Ravens offense to show up.

Is Jim Irsay actually Bacarty?

Sixers and Embiid showing life in his return.  Up 42-27 on the 7-2 Suns right now.

Meanwhile...

Good stuff

I had no idea until now, but Jim Isray is a product (one of many) of nepotism.

Isaiah Likey looks like a player.

He's going to be a stud.  Baltimore knows TE.

More like Mehlinger.

From a legality standpoint it was.  Rules and regulations have softened across the country quite a bit since then too.  Teams also didn't have the full access to players like they do today with social media so even if it was "just" weed, what else might Sapp have been doing?  No one knew and even if that was it, teams didn't know and had to be careful.

From my standpoint, being 41 and going to school in the 80s/90s smoking weed was a HUGE deal back then, especially in our rural area and coming from a family like I did.  No one in my family, extended family or family friends smoked or drank so I wasn't even around cigarettes.   In school, kids that smoked cigarettes were considered "bad".  Weed was unheard of and if they did...HUGE deal.  Nowadays, in the same rural area, kids are mixed up with cocaine and heroine among other things which is scary to think about.

From my standpoint, being 75 and going to school in the 60s/70s smoking mary jane was mainstream.  Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol (the drinking age was 18 at that time) was also mainstream.  In school, kids that smoked cigarettes were considered ... well actually they weren't even considered.  Mary jane, despite its illegality, was readily available and no more expensive than alcohol. Listening to Hendrix or the Doors or Cream was just as often done stoned as straight.  Then the summer of 69 the psychedelic music explosion culminated in Woodstock, where I spent three days and nights with 250,000 others celebrating the music and the cultural revolution, of which spmoking marijuanna was a core component.

Different strokes for different folks.

You don't know what a bargain you got.  You can't buy this type of entertainment.   A guy who's never coached a down in the NFL... taking over a flaming dumpster fire of a team... and a QB that just needs a chance.

As TO would say... "Get your popcorn ready."

I look at Saturday as a NFL coach in essentially the same light as Jason Kelce as a NFL coach.

Underrated funny part of all this is Irsay could have done almost the same concept and named Reggie Wayne interim Head Coach and it would make more sense because he’s an actual coach on the team.

Saturday was a coach on the field for most of his career, just as Kelce is a coach on the field for the Eagles.

And Kelce is not an NFL coach either.  He's a center... just as Saturday was a center.  That doesn't make him a head coach.

That would have been absolutely crazy

The Colts downturn if you really think about it was thanks to Howie. He destroyed that organization

Forgot our game is MNF this week.  Damn, 3 straight Sundays with no Eagles football.

The Isray presser sounded like it was more interesting than the game

We played the Steelers last Sunday
