That was ugly but they had to face some adversity sooner or later. They weren’t going to lead at half every game. They’re in a situation they haven’t been in all year so let’s see how they respond. They got punched in the mouth.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Championship teams figure out how to win these kinds of games.

Keep the faith.

They will make this right.

And FFS, blitz. Blitz. Blitz!

Annoying that the Chargers can play the same defensive scheme with nobody and hold SF to 22.

I just don't see how they can turn it around that much. They've not sustained drives, they've turned it over and the defense can't stop them.

And how can they not realize it with Washington running it down our throats and out our ass.

Thing is, they're only averaging just over 3yds per rush. Not exactly gashing us, just seems that way because they're converting every third or fourth down.

Bad hurts that drive...3 bad balls.  I know AJ slipped but looked like he was running a come back, not an out.

He cant function in a pass first offense

Need to stop that 5-2 crap.  Without Davis, it makes no sense.   Yes, you can string them out if have a monster at NT but they are going to get exposed without that player in the middle.  Go to 4-3 with run blitzes.

This team needed a good punching in the mouth

The defense is letting a 2nd string QB sit back and survey the field. They need to give him a bloody nose. Gannon needs to grow a pair and then they can force them to make mistakes

Score a TD, and get a stop (maybe have the CBs play up).

Imagine a real offense against this defense. Spread the defense and run. It’s not like Davis plays much when offenses go to a spread.

Someone please hire Gannon after the season. Maybe the Texans will double back to him after they proved to the world they weren't racist by making an equity quota hire in Lovie Smith(who they will subsequently fire after one season).

exactly

Come out and establish the run.  Possess the football.  Out physical on the offense and hope Gannon gets his head out of his ass.

When your most talented player on the DL is Josh Sweat then you're probably not going to get away with continuing to call vanilla defenses.

He was visibly antsy that drive...he'll be fine second half, I hope.

Just play Cover-3 for a series and trust your CBs to cover.

Even with the wide open gaps in our zone coverage, it still feels like Heinieke is due for a back breaking pick. All he does it throw lollipops out there. Hopefully we attempt to cover someone in the second half.

Hurts is the least of the problems in this game. You are biased. He put the ball in Brown's hands and Brown didn't win the battle. Brown then slipped and messed up the play. Come on.

Gannon doesn't grow a pair though. That isn't how he does things. He has relied on turnovers. Which yes are key but you can't expect that rate to continue.

Yes it is that simple but the way this team has played I don't see it. And this isn't just tonight. They were awful last time out.

not sure if you are aware of the speed of the Washington WR corps.

Our CBs are Bradberry and Slay, their QB is Taylor Heineke and we're getting killed by small papercuts. You have to take some risks, otherwise this happens.

He was antsy on the drive before the Interception drive as well. He was rushing throws, hit the WR in the shoe laces and was a little off with accuracy. Hes just not on tonight.

Interesting test for Sirianni. Your DC is torpedoing your undefeated team on MNF -- how do you respond?
