If we want to wine more about the refs, I don’t think Heinieke was outside the tackle box on that throw away.

It's not whining when it's accurate.

Surprisingly, not bad. But if a team is willing to run the ball that many times at 3+ YPC, that'll keep the chains rolling. Consistent short 3rd downs. No runs stopped behind the LOS.

Take a look at the angles. Heinicke went down at the very last second. They tried to slow down and barely touched him. And he acted like he got hit by a truck. Meanwhile, Goedert almost gets his head ripped off by his facemask but that's ok.

One doesn’t have to do with the other. It was a clearly missed face mask. It was also clearly a late hit that went to his head/neck.

Point remains. People were up in arms about Hutchinson hitting him late with no call which was much bang bang than Graham. Angles doesn’t matter, he took two full steps. Blame it on Graham not knowing what was going on, it’s still the correct call.

I can’t imagine how Covey feels after games physically. He’s the king of the 20 yard kick return and getting demolished. Every hit he takes looks like a car wreck.

He brings nothing of value to this team.  Absolutely nothing.

Of all the decisions, I can't believe we let Covey return that last Punt. We have Devonta Smith!

Covey shouldn't be on the team

Nah I'll blame the **** one sided officiating. But thanks.

Agreed. He's a safe option but I think you need more than that. We need something from the return game and through 9 games Covey hasn't shown a thing. Our starting field position is so so bad and a big part of that is the returns. They just aren't there.

That was a key facet.  They stayed on schedule, barely.

But when we did get them in third and 5+, they easily converted through the air in the first half.

Their long run on the day was 11 yards.

Look at you with your facts that fuel my feelings of hate towards Gannon

No. If he gets blocking, Hurts was on fire, I mean the only thing that stopped the last two drives were fumbles.

That Dickerson whiff on Allen was awful.

It took a team to lose this game, but you can't blame Hurts for this one.

While I didn't like the throw in double coverage to Brown, he almost came up with that catch, and it's the throw you make to open up the run game.

I'm not blaming Hurts - but you just cannot assert that he would have won the game.

It was a dumb throw into double coverage. He got away with a few of them this year, but not tonight.

Yeah, not every 3.5 ypc is the same.

They were getting 3-4 yards on practically every carry!

Losing is losing but at the end of the day none of our miserable, pathetic lives have anything to do with the outcome of that game. So sleep well you degenerate swines. Especially you olsilverpubes and fairygodfather

Embarrassing.

Jalen Carter or Bresee with the 1st pick.

No brainer.

Yeah.  No blitzing in the first half.

But we did a great job of tackling them for a two-yard gain on third and 1!

Ok and that’s fine. They were bad tonight. It was still a late hit. And people would absolutely whine if that was Hurts and it was not called.

That's their SB. It's all losers like that trash team has.

Blame most of this loss on Gannon.  He was down right horrible.  He still doesn't understand that his 5-2 front doesn't work against the run without Davis.  Need to go back to 4-3 and let the LBs run/hit.  Against the pass, he is all soft zone.  Yeah, I understand against Terry but put a safety over the top of him.  Make the other guys beat you one on one.

The offense was too reliant on the passing game.  Completely neglected the run 3/4 of the game.  Stay committed.  Let out big uglies beat lean on them all game

In the first half of this game, or the first half of his DC coaching career?

No doubt. Gannon was a step or two behind Turner all game.

Hurts wouldn't be a little puss like Heiney or whatever his third string scrub ass is called.

He didn’t even "go down at the last second” his knee was fully down the whole time. What game are some of you watching?
