I mean there's a trade off for sure. If you don't hit and tackle in practice then you can't work on it. But if you do those things you potentially pick up more injuries.

They sucked against the worst team in the league with Dameon Pierce running wild on us too. It's no secret, anyone can run on us and the league knows it. Commies don't even have  that great of an o-line and look how they steamrolled us. Gannon and his soft ass defense needs to go. Howie needs to get some tough hard nosed players that aren't afraid and can play the run too.

Pretty sad and pathetic by them to a week 10 win. But hey they are a joke of an organisation. 

The NFL isn’t designed for teams to be perfect. It’s a bad, frustrating loss but the teams is still in an unbelievable position for the #1 seed, which is all that matters.

Still upsetting Buffalo lost the way they did. I would be ok with this loss otherwise

The KR game has essentially been removed from the NFL, not sure why they even kick it off anymore, should have adopted the way the XFL did kick returns...

The punt return  game is basically the same as it's been with a few rule tweaks but seems the eagles didn't get the memo because ever since sproles has been gone the PR game has been bottom of the league, it's like the eagles don't even care, and if they don't than covey will do because while he may never break a big one he's a smart returner, he's not going to let it bounce or make poor decisions and he's sure handed, anything after that is gravy I guess because the eagles investment over the last say 5 years Into the return game have failed or been minimal at best,and  as such have garnered minimal results

I only have a couple issues with the offense.

One, miles sanders for some reason just disappears from the face of the planet for too long of stretches of times. This isn’t just a today issue. We had the convo during the cardinals game they did it then. 

second, I do not get this three tight end formation when you’re in 2nd and long having to go about 80 yards to get a touchdown to take the lead. By doing that formation with quez and gainwell with it you had to take AJ Brown or Smith off the field. At that moment in time i do not want my 2 best wide receivers off the field. That is a formation at that juncture of the game is stupid. I can’t describe it any other way  

I don’t know if brown was gutting out after his one catch, but with his side and physicality I’m getting him the ball some how even if it’s close to the line of scrimmage. With the titans they’d try some of those screen plays win him and he’ll run over some defenders for a td  

to be honest, though I’m more frightened about special teams and the defense. Special-teams basically the last two years has been a disaster. How many times do they have to F up before this coach somehow gets fired. They had 2 fakes go against him this year. Our punter saved our ass from a block tonight  our punt return game is terrible. Our coverage usually 2 times a game gives up a decent return. The defense hasn’t been good at tackling since week one against the lions. This has been a problem for a while. I would add too many times our linebackers run themselves into blocks and dont get off blocks. And it takes us half of games the last 3 weeks to finally make some sort of adjustment to our game plan

But against the Eagles I think the smart play is to kick it short of the end zone and force them to return. 

I’m not sure what took me so long, but time to join the pity party and crack open a Bell’s TwoHearted Ale. 

Also I’m pretty sure we beat this team 9 out of 10 times. It took A TON of bad breaks for them to lose by 5 (Toohill never scored a TD, shut up).

I’ve seen that not called in games. I thought it was a make up call for the bad penalty we had called against us on the previous drive. Tbh if (i think it was Dotson) the Wr didn’t run into our DB, i think Scott was beat. Heinicke would've had to make a better throw but Scott looked beat prior to that. 

I really think that Slay wasn't 100% and caused Gannon to totally avoid pressure with man coverage.

It seemed unnatural, even for him, to consistently only send four in the first half.

Also, my wife thought my reaction was insane after that Watkins fumble and the Graham late hit. Frankly, I think not waking up my kids was a huge victory and a real show of self restraint.
