So we've got a washed up old big fat guy who's bad against the run because we're bad against the run.

Makes sense.

Slim pickin after FA period ended. Also, 300+ pound athletic monsters are rare.

@LeanMeanGM Eagles 33 Colts 16.   BONUS: AJ Brown over 100 yards receiving.

Listening to Solak and Sheil, and Solak  thought Milton Williams had a really good game against Washington upon rewatch. Just tossing it out there since there was discussion about him yesterday.

What did he base that opinion on?

Couldn’t say, but I’m not going to rewatch that game to see if he’s right or wrong.

His best game this year. Quinn had some good reps too.

Cox, Marlon T and Graham really struggled IMO.

I noted he was around the ball a ton a week or 2 ago. I think hes probably doing better than people think. Or maybe he is up and down. But certainly not a weekly 0.

I would like to see us focus on souteness along the DL in the draft. I loved Paschall last year. Looking back, we needed him even more than I thought. Everyone wants sacks from our DL, and rush ability certainly factors in. But we need guys who can control their gaps and play the run on the way to the QB in this defense.

I created a couple IWTETG threads yesterday with guys who I think fit. Gervon Dexter at DT. Foskey at SAM (Sweat), Verse at 5 tech (Graham), and Aundike-Uzomah at 5/4i (Hargrave, Williams)

As nice as the Will Anderson dream is, I think we need to pay attention to the type of player that makes this defense work.

Milton Williams next to Davis with some varying assignments and alignments could (maybe) be great.

Milton Williams trying to be someone he isn’t and stop the run when the starters can’t do it is a problem and a waste of talent.

He’s a DT/DE tweener. He’s going to have to play the run some. There’s no avoiding it.

Someone find Bennie Logan

It seems like a near certainty that Gannon will get a chance to be a HC next year.

If Fangio were to take over, does the defensive strategy change?

am i missing it or is that quinn dude from the bears not getting many snaps?

I dont know the answer to that. Im not sure if that becomes a more traditional 3-4 rather than all these 5-2 looks we show. Not sure if its a 1 gapping 3-4, or more of a 2 gapper. I believe we run a tweener right now.

Amazing he just now figured it out.

Yiiiiikes

Rewatched highlights of the game last night for the first time since going to the game Monday.

That Quez fumble was so bad.  Doesn't even make sense why he fell to the ground while catching it.  A lot of bad game turning type plays in that game but that one was the worst.  Could have taken the lead and then who knows what happens with Washington now in a spot where they might feel the need to be more aggressive.

If you werent such a Hurts fluffer it would make sense to you. The ball was underthrown.

Noticed his play in the 2nd half.  Seemed to bring some much needed energy to the DL
