Would you rather have Suh out there on his 12th snap or Cox out there on hith 55th snap?

How about Linval at his 10th snap or Fletcher Cox's 60th, 65th, 70th snap?

Easy answer to both

Ok. My point was two old fat guys who haven’t played in almost a year are probably susceptible to soft tissue injuries. Obviously the team is better with them on the field. Just depends if it’s Chris Long better or Robert Quinn better.

Suh was good last year. He's just no longer an all-pro.

Note: Suh had invested in crypto. Not sure how exposed he is, but he's someone who really likes money and may need the cash.

was looking at his twitter yesterday. The guy talks A LOT about investment and money.

Like the attitude...

"That’s the goal,” Joseph said Thursday, via Dave Zangaro of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com. "I’ve been training for this moment. It all comes down to the playbook. It’s a new playbook but I’m picking it up. I don’t know how much I’m going to play but the goal is to be on the field on Sunday.”

Joseph began his career in the NFC East with the Giants before spending six seasons with the Vikings. He was on the Chargers for the last two years, recording 57 total tackles with three tackles for loss and a sack in 14 games in 2021.

The 34-year-old lineman said he had been admiring the Eagles from afar as they started the season well.

"I wanted to see what made them so good,” Joseph said. "And just seeing that they’re well-balanced is pretty big. Because right now I think they’re the only team in the NFL that’s well-balanced in every room.”

Joseph won Super Bowl XLVI with the Giants over the Patriots back in his second pro season. But in signing with Philadelphia, Joseph is eyeing another championship.

"The ultimate goal here is to get another ring,” Joseph said, "and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure we can get that done.”

The same Warren Buffett that has always been skeptical of crypto? Doubt Buffett gave Suh the advice to invest in it.

I'm far from a super savvy investor, but I learned from Motley Fool that it makes sense to invest in companies that you use the products of.  It also makes sense to invest in companies that have real assets.   The crypto-craze never made sense to me.  What were they really selling?   They were selling an idea with no real product.  Never smelled right to me... and still doesn't.

Unregulated investment opportunity

Am I the only one who thinks most of the fault of the run defense is scheme? We concede the run. Teams recently have been stubborn enough to stick with it at 3-4 ypc. The DTs have to be better, but Gannon needs to adapt. Joseph or Suh aren’t going to make the difference.

No. But then again, Gannon has said that he doesn't have a sheme. 🤷‍♂️

Honestly I don’t know the difference. All I know is it sucks so I’ll blame both.

It’d be interesting to see how Schwartz’ defense would have done with two good outside CBs and not two bad ones.

Of course it's the scheme. Howie wasn't gonna wait for Gannon to get around to adjusting; it already cost them a game.

Yes, Joseph will, and Davis when he returns. Hargrave did when he rotated in at NT, but that's wasting his snaps.

Being able to rotate Joseph, Cox and Suh instead of Cox, Tulip and Wilson will make a big difference.

DT is going to be a draft priority.

I think Slay and Bradberry would be significantly worse off for it, and CGJ would look even better. However, there would be zero problems with the run game. Tradeoffs.

Cover 1, more 1:1s deep down the field. Likely see more Bradberry reps like the one vs. Dorsett. Slay would be fine but more like the 2020 version.

If he gets on the field I want to change my bonus to 1 TFL and 1 sack 😉 for LJ.
