As for today vs the Colts, everything depends on the game plan. If the coaches start calling 80 plus percent passing again then they will struggle yet again. Might still win but not what most expect with a blow out. Est the run game, play a balanced game from the start and I see a comfortable win.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

If the Eagles are actual contenders they win this game by 3 scores.  Anything less, combined with last week, it’s time to lower your expectations accordingly.  Don’t think 2 40 year olds will make much difference on defense.

If the Eagles win, they'll be 9-1 and still the team to beat.

Just win.

I disagree. It’s the run D. The offense/playcalling had very little to do with Monday’s loss. The defense has to get off the field and not be in 3 and 1 so often

F me, the wrist slitting on here since that loss is odious. Just appreciate that we could go 9-1 today if everything lines up. We are definite contenders and one loss doesn't change that.

What I'd really love to see today (along with an injury free win of course) is Sermon come in instead of Gainwell and run well and hard.  It just doesn't feel like Gainwell is providing much of a spark.  Not saying he is horrible but just not what I'm looking for anyway.

Exactly. It was an interdivision game and 💩 happens. They were due for a bad game. And maybe a wake up call that they needed to address certain concerns. Got every bad break that you can get, including the officiating. But also the Commanders had to play perfect to win that game and deserve credit for execution of a solid game plan. We played terrible and still could have won. Enough said.

I’m sorry, I disagree.  They are not contenders if the run defense doesn’t improve.

Run defense isn't good but it also shouldn't be that much of an issue.  Gannon calling this soft defense letting QBs take whatever they want short is what the issue is.  We have seen for two weeks the Texans and Redskins more than willing to do that which also allows them to control the clock and greatly lower the amount of times our offense will see the field.

Howie stocked the table with talent on this defense and yet he still seems scared of playing an aggressive style, which now has for some reason carried over to against bad teams because at least last year against bad teams he would be aggressive with his calls.

I do think that Sirianni is going to want to really lay it on the Colts today with points as a way for getting some revenge for Frank Reich who probably played the largest role in Sirianni getting hired by the Eagles as HC.

Is this a serious question? Do you not even know who the Eagles third string quarterback is?

I suspect many fans are asking the same question.  Do we have proof that he exists?

I think we see the Eagles focus on the run. dominate the ground. help with TOP(which helps our rush defense) and really force throw the ball down their throat

Nope, Sermon inactive again.  Maybe sometime later in the year.

I do think we go run heavy today though.  Especially if we get up by 10 pts.

Covey has a breakout day and averages 20yds/returns.

I'd rather have Suh return punts at this point
