  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

Patriots with a walk off Punt Return TD. Covey-esque

God it must suck to be a jets fan. Omg.

Don’t worry sproles wants to come back and he clearly can do that at 39 lol

F the Jets - they put a hit out on our QB in the first preseason game

Dallas loss leaves us tied record wise with the Vikings

Yes I know. I’d rather worry about the division first. Plus, we have the tie breaker with those purple freaks.

Guaranteed he’d be better than Covey

I hope the narrative this week isn't "Eagles injuries hurting them, wah!"

Everyone deals with injuries. Can't blame everything on that. The Eagles have plenty of talent to make things work and shot themselves in the foot all game. And I don't even mean just the turnovers. Hurts basically chose wrong on like 90% of the RPOs in the game. And some of the play calling and game management was absolutely baffling. If the Eagles lost that game the decisions in the final drive would have been magnified as embarrassingly bad.

Hope the coaching staff takes this to heart.

The Elf on the shelf at Qb needs to be benched. At least Flacco gives that offense a chance to be mediocre and their defense has been great

Dallas loss would give us some nice breathing room, and they’d start to feel pressure from wash behind them

I just can't root for Dallas, but now that we won, I will accept the fact that a Vikings loss helps us.

lol the jets returning it, taking too long to dance around and just run out of bounds with 0 seconds. Classic jets

suh and joseph down the road might be the starters by the playoffs , maddox back will make this defense tough

Did I hear that right? The Jets were held to two yards in the second half? Jesus.

Needed that win badly and they closed it out.

Not happy with the offense and playcalling, some concern there ahead of the next game, but was great seeing Suh, Joseph and the D doing their part.

Getting Davis, Maddox and Goeddert back in the fold will be the cherry on top. 9-1 baby, bring on the cheeseheads.

Much closer than I would have like but the offense came through in the end. Defense played pretty good and the run defense looked much improved outside of that first drive.

Coaches and the offense have a lot to work on before they face off against the packers.

In other news, Saints won today, but if you look at their remaining schedule, they have one, maybe two wins the rest of the way. Top 5-7 pick still looking very likely. And Watson will be back with the Browns at some point. They'll probably win a few games, and Lions are playing well. Only teams objectively worse than the Saints right now are Texans, Raiders, Rams, Panthers, (though they beat them). Jags, Bears, Broncos close call.

missing dallas hurt the game plan , they should have known you can't make that up

Nice job staying the course.  Overcoming self-inflicted wounds.  Looked cool down the stretch.

Ugly win but a win is a win

They are currently tenth.

The problem is that there are a ton of really bad teams this year.  They could end up being the best bad team and their pick ending up 12+.

Saints will likely finish 6-11, which means picking around 7-8 overall.

Division destiny is in our control. Vikings aren’t anymore.
