Dallas is a bigger problem than Minnesota.

Oh well. More cushion for the one seed

Ron Rivera: Taylor Heinicke is our starter, Carson Wentz will back him up when healthy

Quote

Taylor Heinicke is now the Commanders’ No. 1 quarterback.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera confirmed after today’s win over the Texans that Heinicke will remain the starter, and that when Wentz is fully cleared to return from his hand injury, he’ll be Heinicke’s backup.

"We’re gonna go with Taylor. We’ll work with Carson and see where Carson is, as far as whether he’s ready to be the backup,” Rivera said.

Asked what Taylor has shown to lead to that decision, Rivera said, "Winning.”

The Commanders are winning with Heinicke: They’re now 4-1 since Heinicke became the starting quarterback, and they were 2-4 with Wentz. Rivera actually got lucky that Wentz suffered that injury, as Heinicke becoming the starter has breathed new life into a team that looked like it was going nowhere.

Said that about two weeks ago. Dallas and the Niners are the two biggest threats in the NFC. With tampa if they figure things out as the ultimate darkhorse

So are the Niners. The Vikings aren’t anything special I’ve watched them a,most every week

Yup why i said i rather the Vikings win. After this week dallas has vs. giants, vs. Indy, vs. Texans and at jags. theres a strong chance they are sitting at 11-3 when they face the eagles on Xmas eve and the eagles have a divisional loss to Washington. If the worse happens where eagles and Dallas split and we tie for the division lead but eagles go 4-2 and Dallas 5-1 in the division then you lose the tiebreaker.

Yet we still won

What’s your point?  I’m arguing against Hurts being an absolute God. Not to mention we barely just beat one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league.

That was always the case, no?

In 5 years this guy went from almost league MVP to being traded twice and benched for a dude who was sleeping on a couch a few months ago...

Not sure he ever gets another chance...

Who’s saying he’s a god? He didn’t have a particularly good game. He made some bad decisions but also made some critical plays.

Franchise material right there.

There's enough bad teams out there that one may take a shot. But he's on his last leg, for sure. Had he not blown his ACL out in 2017, maybe things are vastly different for him today. He's never been the same, since.

At least we got 2017 out of him. For that, I can never 'hate' him.

Want Cowboys winning. All day long on the road. They have 3 losses and we have a 2 game lead on them and the tie breaker currently. Don't worry, they will have a clunker next week against the Giants. 😁 I am valueing home field throughout the playoffs, as my key decision maker on games going forward. And that says Vikings losing today is best for that agenda.

Holy F***!

That was a softball question - the defense did great, we have to do better. Hats off to NE, yada yada.

Does he get another year of eligibility?

That was a great catch by lamb but god awful defense by Minnesota

Yup, I don't hate him just think he's a wasted talent

Guy has a golden arm and a ten cent head.
