Eagles currently have a better record but Dallas looks like the better team. I’m the playoffs records don’t matter.

Huh?  DAL just peed a 14-point lead away last week against a team without any other wins in the past six weeks.

Wasting that timeout on a fake QB sneak to try and draw them offsides--after coming out of a 2 min warning--was the dumbest thing Sirianni has done as HC.

Even if the Eagles didnt convert there, they have 2 timeouts and the Colts are backed up into their own endzone.

If the Eagles can stop what is likely 3 Colt runs, they probably get the ball back at midfield with like a min still on the clock.

Burning that timeout means the game is virtually over if we failed to convert that 4th down.  Monumental bonehead move and he had a whole commercial break to think about it.

Im chalking that game up to being too emotional with the circumstances around the game. He was bad today.  Also going for it on 4th and 10 from basically midfield. Yikes. Hes really lucky to come away with that win.

That whole sequence right around the two minute warning was a disaster. They had a chance to run both the third and fourth down plays outside of the warning to give them an extra timeout in case they turned it over on downs, and they give it to Scott on third down who gets stuffed and wastes the two minute warning. And then they burn the timeout immediately after. Just a really poor game from Nick today.

I really will never understand how people hate Eagles QBs who are playing really well.

This game is a loss with Lamar Jackson at QB. Its a loss with Herbert at QB. Hurts won this game by making plays with his arm and his legs.

Lamar put up 13 at home vs Carolina today. He's disappointing over and over again. In the last year+ Lamar is 13-8 with an 89.7 rating. Hurts is 16-8 with a 94.5 rating.

6499 yards and 47 TDs with 12 picks for Hurts and 6052 yards with 46 TDs and 19 picks for Lamar.

Anyone who prefers Lamar is magical thinking back to 2019.

BTW, Daniel Jones is 11-9 with an 88 rating the last year+

Lamar is closer to Daniel Jones than he is to Hurts right now. (based on actual on the field performance)

Maybe not in Madden though, or in 2019 highlight reels.

Note: Hurts numbers will go up with the game he just had.

Daniel Jones and Lamar had pretty much the same 75 rating game today,  (1 TD and 1 pick vs 2 TDs and 2 picks) but the Ravens team played better than the Giants.

I'm always happy for Andy and his success. He was a great guy and a great coach.

This Eagles franchise is forever changed for the better from 1999 to now.

The "hate” stuff is a rabbit hole most people don’t care to travel down.  I give Hurts credit for leading two 4th quarter TD drives and bringing the team back — showing a "clutch gene” — but he was lacklustre through the first 3 quarters.  IND is not a good football team, and the offense scoring 3 points into the 4th quarter was poor performance.  That includes the QB.

Hurts’ tendency today to want to do it all himself is a troubling sign.  It’s a worrisome sign that he may be in danger of regressing back to last season’s poor habits.  I might be judging on style points, but I’d feel better if Hurts had thrown a dart for a TD pass on the final drive instead of calling his own number repeatedly.  I don’t think good teams will let Hurts beat them the way IND did

Colts have a good defense and were playing at home.

I see we’ve reached the time of year when everyone massively overreacts to a Dallas win and declares them a Super Bowl contender. So…get ready for them to lose to the Giants on Thanksgiving.

Tbh the chargers have had massive injuries all year that’s hurt them. Also the difference besides mahomes is reid. Staley and everyone else in that division is nowhere close in terms of coaching.

I actually had a conversation with one of my friends who is a big-time Buffalo Bills fan. I said to him if you guys come up short this year to the Chiefs at what point do you say  what else can we do to get the team over the top? To me the only thing you could do is go out and get Sean Payton. Similar to the Bucs with dungy and going with gruden. hope that he elevates that team and can come up with something to put them over the chiefs and reid.

Plus, they end their season with the Eagles, @ TEN, @ WASH — that could be three losses to finish.

That would be so sweet, especially since I'm forced to have Thanksgiving in the company of a Cowboys fan. My sister's husband's nephew. I've especially enjoyed watching them repeatedly lay clunkers over the past few years.

Tbh this year in the NFC I think it’s complete a crapshoot. As i don’t think any of these teams are great. I think the are good and can get to that level but none right now i think are there. Right now the eagles are the favorites. I wouldn’t be surprised like the eagles in 08 if some team gets hot in the nfc and goes on a run. I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s tampa bay.

I think the top three teams are the Eagles, cowboys, and the 49ers. The eagles might have 1 loss but i don’t think the separation between them and the next two teams is vast. Like last year I thought the drop off from Bucs, rams and packers was more significant to the next tier of teams even though the niners got hot and beat GB. If you tell me eagles win the NFC this year, I wouldn’t be that surprised. If you told me the cowboys won it, I wouldn’t be that surprised. If you told me the Niners came through and won it, I wouldn’t be that surprised. I wouldn’t even be surprised if it were someone like tampa if they get hot.

in the AFC I still believe when Josh Allen gets healthier it is still going to come down to the Chiefs and the bills if they don’t have to face off in the divisional round again. I think Miami (and chargers if they make it in) has a punchers chance but i think those two rise to the top

I think we basically know the top 3 in the NFC with the Eagles/Cowboys/49ers and then you have Tampa and the Vikings. After 17 games the bye is going to be a huge advantage IMO regardless of who the Eagles have to play.

Winning the nfc east and finishing second is likely the difference between the 1 seed and facing either niners/Bucs on the road in the wild card round.

Not sure this statistic proves he is proven.

Coming into the season I felt the Aaron Rodgers/Greenbay game would be one of our hardest.   I still feel he can punish you but his WR aren't playing that great and their Defense is leaking points.  If our Defense takes care of business jamming up WR and bringing pressure I think they should be able to handle Greenbay.   Sadly for Aaron, another loss will pretty much end their playoff hopes.  It's crazy, Greenbay is an overtime Dallas Win from losing 7 in a row.

I don't know, man.  Britain Covey has something to say about that.

This is the same as the Vikings beating the Bills last week with the aid of divine intervention and people were acting like they were a legit top team in the league. Cousins will just never get you there.
