LeSean McCoy was an excellent RB for us, but he didn't win with vision. His vision was not bad (see Sanders, Miles), it was league-average. League-average vision + elite breaking tackle ability = Pro-Bowl caliber RB.

Shady saw cutback lanes that Miles couldn't dream of. He was a lot more elusive than Miles, but I would argue his vision was his best trait.

Who? I think some people questioned the trade value for the Dolphins.  Some people thought it was a good move for both teams.  I don't know if the trade will help the Chiefs come playoff time.

Did the colts have a spy on hurts? Says he spied what the oline looked like and had done all game so he thought it was a pass. But i feel like regardless the colts should’ve had someone spying on hurts inside the 10.

No spy. Just a zone.

Wait what....Shady saw holes before they were there.

LeSean McCoy: 'I still have that green inside my heart'

He also danced too much at the line trying to juke a defender

dont care what the formation is. If they watched any Hurts games at all you know he wants to run down there.

Hurts sold it well by first back peddling into the pocket as if to pass…that’s what moved the defender to cover the fade route.  By the time he looked back, it was too late.

Imo that was the mistake. Inside the red zone and specifically inside the 10, i think you have to have a spy cause his legs are a weapon to score. At that time it’s 4 down territory so a run isn’t off the table even if it got the eagles just 3-4 yards. Buckner can say it’s his bad for reading the oline and making the decision he did, but i tend to think the issue started with not having the wherewithal to spy hurts in the given situation.

No, I think Shady matched his physical assets very well to the decisions he made getting to the hole.  He excelled in zone run offense because he could pick the hole.  His vision was an integral part of his ability.

I forgot he sucked.  My bad.

Tyreek Hill trade: Both the Dolphins/Chiefs won.
Davante Adams trade: Both the Raiders/Packers lost.

To be honest, the Raiders lost when they hired Josh McDaniels to be their coach. He is not a good coach. He rides on the coattails of Tom Brady to get multiple jobs. It didn’t help him though that the Raiders completely set fire to every first round draft pick besides jacobs they had made in the Gruden and Mayock era

Just imagine if he had some vision. :nonono:

I dont disagree, I just think it's too early to fully agree on all aspects.

Chiefs won- Easily

Dolphins - Gonna have Cap issues cause of his salary, and missing draft picks, but as of 10 games, yes, they look great but they have 4 years left

Packers/Raiders, agree both lost right now. But Carr is out next year, and I'd love to see Rodgers go to VEgas lol

The Raiders came out and said they dont have the money to Fire McDaniels because thier cash poor lol

The Raider's (the owner) supported McDaniels, someone in the media said that they cannot fire him because they cannot afford to pay him and another coach.

Snap counts.

Blankenship on the field instead of Wallace.  Hmmm.

You say that like it's a bad thing!

But seriously, Dean not getting ANY snaps as a rookie continues to be a huge red flag for me despite all the praise the coaches give him.

Do you feel the same way about Jurgens?

Aside from Hurts, a disaster of a draft in 2020.

I'll take that any day. Blankenship was a great UDFA pickup.

Just looked at that those picks again...

I'm not that distressed by NO being in the tenth slot now.  Seven loss teams go from #4 to #11.  And the Saints have one of the weaker SoS.

Lots of football left yet. Betting we will be getting a 11-17 pick out of them at the end of the season anything higher than 10 would be a huge win.

Don’t suggest you look at the 2019 class either.

Yeah that was a rough one. Hurts, Watkins, Driscoll (though hurt often), and Toohill (for the Redskins anyway) were the only hits. Then you have Reagor, Taylor, Wallace, Hightower, Bradley, and Tega Wanogho.

Flush that one.

Houston's gonna have a chance to pick their QB and maybe also get a Myles Murphy/Jordan Addinson...and still suck.
