The NFL desperately needs a sky-judge because the Cardinals got called for a phantom facemask.

Good Lord, that was an insane route to cut back in with his inside leg.

You take what the defense gives you instead of forcing things and playing hero ball. I mean he walked in for that TD, ask Russell Wilson about forcing passes in the red zone!

Hurts has been hurt by his teammates, the sack was both bad blocking but more bad play design, most RBs would struggle blocking a DE, Sanders even more b/c he's not a good pass blocker. No idea why Mailata was doubling inside and let the DE run free unless that was bad play design.  Two drives were killed by penalties, one he almost got them back from 1st and 35. One by a fumble by Brown. Same issue in the Redskins game.

Watching him throw, his mechanics are better, and he's throwing the ball with more zip and accuracy. He's never going to have a rocket arm, but it's more than good enough now.

You can cherry pick these plays where he was let down, but you absolutely have to acknowledge he makes some mind numbing mistakes.  He's back to that headless chicken in the pocket spin.  Walked on a crucial RZ play that he could have easily ran in or at least attempted a throw.  He might have a few plays where you want to look at the zip being improved but then you see the constant balls that are nose diving, or that horrid attempt at a wheel to Sanders that fell 10 yards short (thankfully the LB freaked out and ran through sanders).  Taking what the D gave us would have led to a couple more points yesterday, the week before and a lot of the weeks prior to that.  He's much improved from last year, but he's still not where he should be as a QB who's going to demand a big contract soon.

Feels like Jimmy G is a lock to be a Jet next year.

so what? inside there is a LB at the 42 yard line, and a safety coming down at the 29 yard line. He would run in to beind surrounded by 3 defenders.

Open field you can make people miss, the sideline narrows the field literally and figuratively for defenders.

He was literally standing around on the goal line when Hurts ran out of bounds on the 3rd down play before our FG. No effort whatsoever to get open and give Hurts an option on a scramble drill for a critical 3rd down at that point of the game. We were all scratching our heads trying to figure out why the Titans would ever trade him away after the first couple games. Starting to get a glimpse into the rationale now, perhaps.

I mentioned earlier in the season that the dude seems like a head case.  While many thought he social media presence was funny or great, I saw it as one of those typical diva WR's.  Great football player when he wants to be.  There is the chance that ankle is hampering him though.

He went where he had one guy to make miss rather than 3 guys to make miss.

Since Stoutland has been here, we've never seen an RB with great vision. I want to see that at some point. I think we could easily get 3-5 yard chunks at will just by having RBs who can read properly. some of the best, if not the best OL play in the league, while he might be the run game coordinator, or have a huge impact...it's the RB coaches job to coach vision and following blocks into RB's.

Do you feel the same way about Jurgens?

The person in front of Jurgens on the depth chart is a potential first ballot HOFr playing some of the best football of his career.  The person in front of Dean is a liability on the field.

You are delusional.

Idk, I would not rule out Howie signing Jimmy G to play QB then moving Hurts into a role as a running back/receiver and be our Deebo Samuels

I mean it could happen 😅

That he's going to demand a big contract or that he's not where he should be?  Please explain how you would continue to build a team around a 35m/y QB at min who is more famine than feast.

Deebo is really good at sports.

I think the price tag will likely be up around $46M per year as well

Possibly...I was giving the 'good teammate' discount.  I want him to be it, we are flush with picks to keep the team young.

$35M APY will be Kirk Cousins next contract when he’s on the Colts for some reason. Hurts and his agent will probably settle around $50M.

Still saying the Niners are the team to beat in the NFC and seeing nothing tonight that changes my mind. They match up too well against the Eagles.

Great defense, great offensive line, great run game, great weapons. They beat the Eagles team we’ve seen the past three weeks by two scores.

Yeah, the niners are pretty clearly the best team in the NFC at the moment

Jimmy G 0-3 when he throws at least 1 pick. They are beating up on Colt McCoy. Goodness. They are having a good game against an awful opponent. That doesn't make them the best team in the NFC. I look forward to Davis, Suh, Hargrave and Joseph in Jimmy G's face. Also the 49ers have lost to Chicago, Atlanta and Denver.

They are doing what a good team needs to do against lesser opponents, put them away. Something the Eagles have shown they can't do lately. The Niners have the ability to score 30 and hold the opponent below 17. The Eagles can't put 30+ at will, they struggle.

Can you imagine a 5-2 where the DEs are Hargrave and Suh, the DTs are Joseph and Davis and Reddick is that Joker SAM?  Not even sure the Eagles OL could keep that DL from collapsing the backfield/pocket.

At will? Would have been nice to put up 30 against the Chiefs. They are a good team. The Eagles will have to play against good teams in the playoffs. IMO, Jimmy G is about as scary as Cousins when under pressure and against a high quality opponent. Kittles and Samuel are for real. No doubt.

Not only do we have a top young QB to build around but we have a top GM to do so after he pays Jalen.
