They started the season with a rookie Qb and had many injuries ...so the slow start. They are a different team right now.

Nothing really matters week to week until playoffs start. Besides injuries.

Glad you are excited.  I am disgusted by the all black.   This team isn't the Raiders or Steelers.  Black wasn't a part of the colors for this franchise for the vast majority of its existence... but now we get to ride that little fad.  

 

Yay progress.   Seems we can get a new helmet that's completely black, but the Kelly greens... those are too hard.  Or we didn't file the paperwork early enough... Or Lurie's ex-wife hates the color... Or whatever other lame excuse exists.

At least that was a part of the history of the franchise and had a reason for them wearing it.  No reason for all black uniforms or black helmets at all.

Amazing day, though. Tailgated and partied with a bunch of Philly folks that we didn't know and the Eagles blew the doors off of DET.

This isn’t necessarily true. This is usually the time of year where teams catch momentum one way or the other heading into the playoffs. Arizona and Pittsburgh were both basically in the same situation the Eagles were in the past two seasons, limped into the playoffs the last quarter of the season, and were bounced in the first round. So that’s my fear for this team based on the past three weeks of play with a tough schedule ensuing.

This is kind of ridiculous. We are scoring 3 more PPG than SF, and allowing only 1 more ppg (18 to 17, roughly). 

Their last 3 games have been against the Rams, Chargers and Cardinals. Rams are awful, Chargers were mangled with injuries, and the Cardinals are awful and were without Murray.

The Eagles have only scored more than 30 points twice this season, and yet....we're 9-1. Why fans feel a need to sell the team short is astounding. Much as we all hate on Gannon, and he is frustrating, his defense is really good at limiting points scored. Which is sorta the goal. 

In summary, F the 49ers. We're the top dog and team to beat still. 49ers will be in a dog fight to even win their division, and those star players they have are very injury prone. It won't be the same team in the playoffs that you see now. 

The all black uniforms is a bit of a con. 

The helmets look practically black anyway!

Unless we've got different jersey's and pants?
