Surprised there isn't any 76er talk in here tonight. Three stars out and still hanging with the Nets. Simmons returning...

I'm watching. I'm surprised that the Nets haven't tried just leaving Tucker open. Dude can't hit a shot to save his life.

I think of him as a poor man’s Jay Cutler

Now that dude was a dewsh.

I'm not sure Wilson is there yet, Cutler was so punchable from day one...

Not saying Wilson isnt on his way to Jay Cutler dewsh level but not quite there yet, hes still a novice...

Not sure I'd call BYU a small college, but ya the kid needed solid coaching and mentoring.  He just seems like a cocky dews.

He's from a rich area of Salt Lake (where a lot of "cocky dews" and ultra high maintenance women come from) who's uncle started Jet Blue and he probably got anything and everything he wanted his entire life. You saw in that press conference how well he handled adversity. Screw him.

I'm calm just not a fan of cocky/spoiled/entitled people. He deserves the criticism he is getting and I'd enjoy watching him wash out of the league.

Is there a qb you think isnt that?

people let envy get at them too easy

I think you have to have a chip and be cocky, but if you knew where he comes from you'd understand a bit more about the entitled/spoiled/**** part.

Hurts seems pretty humble.

not sure how well off he was as a kid but plenty of NFL qbs didn't grow up rich.

Wilson comes from a pretty privileged background and a pretty entitled culture, I'm sure New York and the NFL was quite a culture shock from where he grew up.

I said earlier I think he might have fared better on a west coast team.

So far though not looking good for him in NY.

I enjoy taking my lumps when I'm wrong and patting myself on the back when right.  Wilson is a QB prospect I typically like on paper...when I saw his highlights, I immediately felt no way, not here.  I just wasn't impressed at all.

When you put him on the Jets with a defensive HC, well, that failure was predictable.

I knew Zach Wilson wouldn’t work. Everything about him just looked average. Like 5th round pick average.

But I also thought Darnold and Rosen would be good

It's safe to say he's a bust.  He has great natural talent but he has an absolutely terrible attitude, no maturity and his answer to the question on if he let the defense down was like his Ryan Leaf bust moment.  No leadership skills whatsoever.  Completely selfish answer and shows a lack of any accountability.  He's been terrible in the league.  But you can start out terrible if you have the mental intangibles to succeed at QB in this league.  He's a child and there's no doubt that locker room must despise him.

Gotta love how sports venues cram a bunch of people looking for an outlet in a confined competitive environment fill em full of alcohol then when they get rowdy expect them to act like they're at church or the ballet...

What they going to do kick out the whole arena???

Didn't you see his viral pro day...it was almost as impressive as reagors home video workout...😒

Having said that Wilson has NFL arm talent, he can sling it but playing QB in the NFL is a lot more than showing up with a photogenic Instagram page.

I think he's done with the jets tough to come back from losing respect of teammates.

Another team will give him another shot, they always do...

I doubt that dude can afford a PR team to run his social media at this point

Which do you agree with most:

1. The Eagles have a good defense, all metrics back that up. ie turnovers, sacks, DVOA-which is top 5.

2. The Eagles defense isn't bad, but I still don't trust quite trust it. They've been inflated by playing bad QBs/teams and unsustainable turnover rate.

3. The Eagles defense isn't good. I don't care what the numbers say, the eye test shows their flaws.

4. I don't know what to make of the Eagles defense still one way or the other.

Somewhere between 2 and 3

Hello old friend

The only way this game can go is Gannon calls terrible coverage, scared of Rodgers turning back into Rodgers, and I’m doing so, it allows Rodgers to be Rodgers and drop 30+, while we overthink the offense and force the ball to AJ and score less than 20, until maybe garbage time

Eagles- 24

GB- 31

Eagles score TD with not enough time to actually do anything else. Randall Cobb goes off from the slot for 100+. Rodgers picks on the weakness in our defense. Jones runs for over 100. Eagles look lost on D, DBs are frustrated, the offense can’t get it together enough to win. This was the loss I thought we’d have before we crapped the bed against Washington. I stand by it. 31-17 with 4:00 left. Eagles score a TD and GB drives long enough to take a winning knee in our territory.
