He deserves too. He’s been bad for most of the year. Some of it is the team around him is not very good (although i do like collins, cooks and Pierce) but really he should be better than what he’s shown. The fact people thought last year he was already as good as watson was laughable.

Bad QB and receiver mix.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

The Eagles being a better team in 2021 than 2020 had more to do with staying healthier than it was a result of improved QB play.  Replacing the Infirmary Bros. (Jackson, Jeffery) with some talent at WR, and having continuity on the OL were the biggest gains.

The results so far in 2022 have been a combination of improved QB play and roster talent overall.

Odd take since Wentz played as the worst QB in 2020.  Hurts as an improvement over Wentz played a very important role in their improvement as a team.

Zach Wilson ironically has improved in a few areas, but you know...

Racists gonna racist.

So Eagles apparently hired ex-Colts OC Marcus Brady as a consultant to work with Gannon.

I'd doubt it unless they fall off a cliff the next few weeks. They are competing for the 7th seed currently and designated Wentz to return from IR. Sounds like he's staying 3rd string.

I don't think it's a plan.  If it happens, I think it would be due to injury or a last game of the season that doesn't impact playoff seeding or if they make the playoffs.

Gannon?

Gannon?

Yep

Quote

Brady, 43, is working primarily with defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon and his staff, offering perspective as an offensive coach on how he would attack the Eagles' defense, a source said.

To work with Gannon to help expose the defensive weaknesses....seems like a luxury pick up...

Sure. There's no downside to hire him as a consultant. Gannon and Sirianni clearly trust him.

Bummer

So Howie is basically lining up 2 consultants for our next DC (Fangio) and next OC (Brady). Will be easy transitioning. Howie always playing 4D Chess. He's earning an A plus plus plus for his 2 plus year's work here. From the drafting of players, to the Coaching/Management hires, to Free Agency (on a somewhat limited budget), to  trades, to reestablishing the Eagles identity/culture league wide. Can go on and on. Unbelievable!!

His drafting hasn't been very good.

And it still hasn’t, even with the brilliant resurgence.

I think Brian Johnson will be our next OC if Shane gets a HC job.
