We had the same sickness here in Nor Cal last week with three days of intense symptoms and now along tail of persistent cough and runny nose, but nothing serious otherwise.  Get well soon.

What's been annoying is how the symptoms constantly change. It's a sore throat. Then it's a cold. Then it's a cough. Then it's a sore throat again. Then a fever shows up for an evening. Then it's extreme nasal congestion. The sore throat returns. Then it goes away. Then the congestion goes up into the eyes. Pinkeye. When you wake up, you can barely open your eyes because they're caked shut. The sore throat returns, really bad this time. The eyes improve mostly. The cough reemerges. The sore throat goes away. It comes back. Then a hint of an earache. Then the cough comes back. It's just maddening.

I think some of you have to face the reality that, although he may not get $50 million a year, his contract will be north of $40 million a year.

Why is he? If they think he's the franchise QB then that's going to be the cost. Ok they may get it wrong but they may also get it right.

Well it all comes full circle for Jalen.  His very first NFL game he was put in officially as the starter was against the Packers.  His first TD Pass to Gred Ward happen during this game.   Funny how times change.  They almost came back but it was too late in the game.   That year was the first of Aaron's three straight #1 Seed NFC Runs.   13-3, 13-3, 13-4.   Two MVP's, Two NFC title Game Appearances and a Divisional round Playoff exit.   Meanwhile, Jalen and the Eagles were on a downward spiral that year.  Fast Forward to today and now Jalen is in the #1 Seed NFC Spot heading for a 13 + win record like Aaron has done the last 3 seasons.  And Aaron's Packers are the ones on a spiral losing the last 6 out of 7 games.    The Birds and Packers have a long history together with many Classic Moments including taking down Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr in their only Playoff Loss, or Donovan's Legendary 4 and 26th dagger to Brett Farve in the playoffs.

Not to mention Eagles Legends Reggie White, Andy Reid and Doug Pederson all winning a title with the Packers (Seth Joyner also went to a Super Bowl with them).   Packers lead the series all time but the Eagles have given them problems throughout the years in different situations.   Now Aaron has a great record against the Birds.  Including beating them on the way to his first Super Bowl Title.    With all that said, this is a new year and the Birds are playing way better than than the Packers right now.   This is probably the worst season of Aaron's career number wise.   He's also dealing with a broken thumb which he admitted to recently.   If the Packers lose this game they are all but out of the playoff race and there may even be some calls to give Jordan Love....some love in the starting position.  So this will be Aaron's last stand.   If this was in Greenbay, I'd feel more nervous but I think at Home the Birds should take care of business.  Aaron  is always dangerous and he will put up points but I think the Defense keeps these WR's in check.   I also expect a bounce back game for the Offense.  Aaron and Pack put up a fight but it won't be enough.  The All Black Everything Birds advance to 10-1.

BIRDS - 37

PACKERS - 19

Jalen - Rush TD

Miles - Rush TD

AJ - TD

Quez - TD

Jake FG x3

Defense - Multiple Sacks, INT, Fumble Recovery

I like the 1pm and 4 pm games, not a fan of these sunday night games(for eagles)

The 2022 draft class is the biggest ? in the NFL. They are by far the lowest team of rookie contribution snaps across the league. The class clearly depends on next year and what happens with all the pending FA’s/retirees.

We're first in the NFL in wins. We're trying to win now. We're going to have low snap counts.

If we're 4-6, then we're not signing Joseph/Suh to replace Davis, we're getting a street FA. We're probably playing Dean over White. Bad teams force rookies onto the field.

Do your furry friends come over at night or something?

At NFL Network, tonight's game against GB, the story line is about Rodgers and not the league leading Eagles!  Despite the record, the Eagles do not get the media attention as much as the other more glamours teams, e.g. Cowboys, Giants, Patriots, etc.

So is surgery not needed/considered because it's not medically necessary, or because Rodgers thinks he can treat an avulsion fracture with butthole tanning and hallucinogens?

Apparently you do

I believe this unfolds like the redskin game, we take the L at home, rodgers with a decent game, media creams in their pants because of him torching the eagles D with a broke thumb, rtk rips his hurts poster off his ceiling in a rage, blaming it all on the lack of a TE, 4for4 berates him, gets banned again, my prediction

Very interesting context to look at here Jalen Hurts and the other QBs of this current century that have started their careers here and how they did in their first 10 games in their 3rd seasons.

Donovan Mcnabb: 6-4 record, 58.5%, 2,006  yards, 16 TDs, 5 INT, 87.6 QB Rating, 298 rushing yards & 2 rushing TDs.

Nick Foles: 6-2 record, 59.8%, 2,163 yards, 13  TDs, 10 INT, 81.4 QB Rating, 68 rushing yards & 0 rushing TD.

Carson Wents: 5-5 record, 69.7%, 2,846 yards, 18  TDs, 7 INT, 100.6 QB Rating, 96 rushing yards & 0 rushing TD.

Jalen Hurts: 9-1 record, 68.3%, 2,407 yards, 15 TDs, 3 INT, 106.5 QB Rating, 440 rushing yards & 8 rushing TD.

I don’t want to be the Debbie downer, but if Mcnabb is the greatest QB in your franchise’s history, then you’ve never had a great QB.

What Jalen is doing is impressive, but it’s wasn’t the biggest mountain to climb

Geez, USC might just win the National Championship.

Best offense in the country, by far; best player as well.

Their defense isn't that good but they do seem to always come up with that late game turnover.

I think the best matchup would be Georgia-USC.  Georgia defense vs Caleb Williams speaks for itself.  While Georgia offense and USC defense are both OK, nothing special.

TCU, USC, Michigan and Georgia I think end up being the 4.

Beamer doing a heck of a job in year two with South Carolina  , Tenn last week , Clemson this week . Rattler looks better last few weeks .

This sounds like it will end up being surgerized. This sounds likely to be a Stener lesion. That would absolutely require surgery.

He has but he still didn't look very good before that.

He might want to stay another year to improve on his game.  I'm assuming Caleb Williams will be the #1 pick in 2024 but maybe if Rattler has a good showing next season he could be the 2nd QB taken in 2024 draft.

I agree he should return and continue to get back to the level of play he is capable of .

Yeah I'm no orthopedic surgeon but yeah, my understanding is that avulsions like that usually need surgery. Which is why his insistence on surgery never being an option is weird.

He probably already got it "operated" on by the same guy that "immunized" him.
