You keep circling back to long term which I agree is a mistake for the Cowboys if they sign him to a multi-year deal, but the point I'm making is that it can only be beneficial for them this season which they have a chance to go on a postseason run.

LOL, NFL refs are a joke. Fire them all and just go to quick replays and a few spotters.

The reason Cooper was wide open is that Davis slipped and tried to tackle him. Cooper was just too strong.

You know what the ref did when watching a DB try to tackle a WR? Absolutely nothing.

Right. I think that's what may sucker a team to him. To win now. But he will say you have to sign me long term to get me now. Conflict of interest if you are the Cowboys. They still have to pay Lamb. Again, I think they will come to their senses and realize this. It is really not a fit and high risk. And I hope Jerry gives in to his demands. It's worth it as an Eagles fan, for the low likeliness that he's any good this year. Signing him is good news for the Eagles all the way around. Besides him being a drama queen. He is not signing short term IMO. But will see.

If he ends up helping the Cowboys make a run to the Super Bowl then it will be worth it for them. Cowboys signing him is not good for the Eagles this year since this is also a year the Eagles are realistically trying to make a run to the Super Bowl.  I'd much prefer he sign with a AFC team.
