Well, it wasn't perfect by any means but they found a way to win. Like Kelce said, sometimes they are going to win through the air and sometimes it is going to be a grind it out battle. The best quality of this team (and Hurts) is that they find a way to win.

The Packers came to play tonight with their playoff hopes on life support (and frankly the Eagles are getting everybody's best shot every week). GB is a good running team and have enough weapons to make them dangerous down the field. They absolutely sliced up Dallas. Tougher matchup than people thought. The defensive calls at times boggle the mind and the DL disappears at times.  They do seem to show up in the pass rush dept when it matters.  Gannon plays passive most of the game so that makes it tough on a defense to all of a sudden be aggressive.

What is evident is that the Eagles run game is dominant. They need to keep it simple and pound the rock until somebody stops them. Sanders is playing the best he has played since his rookie year. Hit the down them field on the play action. I think Goedert's absence has really hurt the offense. Brown had a tough game but he was lined up against one of the best in the game. Despite his struggles, he did still catch a TD.

The special teams is horrid. I don't understand how one unit can be so bad. They have decent players. Does a 9-1 team shake it up and fire the coordinator? They need to do something. It absolutely kills momentum when the opposition has a big return following a score. Figure it out!

At the end of the day, the Eagles got another W. That's what matters most. Win games, learn from your mistakes, be better. These games are not only important on the win/loss column but also to prepare the team for the adversity that they will face in the playoffs. Let's hope our injured players can come back and give a jolt to this team.

We're 10-1, guys. Yes, there are flaws offensively, defensively, and on STs, but at the end of the day, they're still bailing each other out week to week to get all these wins. Are we as good as our record says we are? Probably not, we're not as bad as a 7-4 team either. And not so bad as to say that losing our first playoff game is a forgone conclusion.

Are there things to improve in all phases of the game? Absolutely, but I can't really complain too much if results like these keep piling up. Do I have legit concerns that schematically, some of the things we're doing might not be as sustainable as needed to get us another ring? Of course. But I'll try to worry about that if and when it starts to happen. And until then, I'm gonna enjoy having the best record in the league.

I have no qualms at all with what we saw from the offense tonight (other than a botched snap on fourth down and a really careless fumble by Brown). This offense can win in multiple ways. It’s impressive when clicking.

The defense was a big yikes. The KR coverage was embarrassing and deserve all the heat it’s getting.

Not the whole game, but of the 130 plays, only the one that should have been prevented by the DC.

If we did, that means we made a real mistake the down before too.

We should have had somebody fake an injury to change personnel, if that was the case (i.e., they convert a short situation with 11 personnel and then hurry up).

It seemed like Hurts has more designed runs than scrambles. It does seem like he’s more cautious about making throws. He also just doesn’t seem to see certain throws very well. This is the 2nd game where he missed Brown on a wide open crossing route. On the other hand, he’s aware of his limits and made smarter decisions in this game. He was a big reason why they won. The talent of the team begs the question as to whether the offense would perform better with a QB with an elite arm and pocket presence. Mahomes on the Eagles makes them unstoppable.  Kirk Cousins or probably any other NFC QB on this team would be a step back. They are winning close games. There’s nothing lucky about 350+ rushing yards. Hurts was a big reason for their performance.  I just am not convinced that he can perform well enough to win in the playoffs. If he has reached a plateau as a player, I don’t think there’s a way to structure the team to win a Super Bowl.

I was wary on Hurts coming into this year and still have valid criticisms with him at times, but he’s surpassed my expectations this year and even more importantly, I trust him in big moments. It feels like he steps up every time the offense needs a big drive and to put points up. The one time where it didn’t work out in the WAS game, they had a freak fumble on the Quez deep shot. I think he finishes that drive if that doesn’t happen.

He feels like a big moment quarterback. Someone who you can trust down 4 with a minute and a half to go. That’s probably been my favorite quality of his this season.

Yes

Cincy held Derrick Henry under 50 yards today. I think we'll be lucky to hold him under 150 with this run d

And the opposite was true last week. The point is, they've been bailing each other out as needed.

He was too aggressive downfield and needed to fan toward the sideline to get him to cut back inside. It was a bad angle, letting Watson easily beat him to the sideline.

We’ll have to agree to disagree here.

You may be right.  He was dealing with that post route behind the Watson pattern heading the other way.

I perceived a more flat angle out to the sideline where he was just late getting going because the other route held him just long enough.

It does look like he crashed down too hard.  Guess he never saw that kind of speed at middle Tennessee.

...and puts his socks on in the wrong order.

I don’t think I’m overly complaining, but I also don’t really care about wins at this point. They are in a position to make the playoffs and outside of a complete collapse, lock up the #1 seed. Bigger picture is more important, imo.

That’s true. At the same time, I can’t say that I’m thrilled with how we’ve played the past three weeks. Good teams find a way, but we haven’t played well at all.

I mean, the only reason we're in position to lock up the #1 seed is because of all those wins.

Dude, I saw his eye when he was on the sideline and I thought he was wearing a colored red contact or something. His eye was that bloodshot?

They don’t need a complete collapse to lose the one seed or even the division.

He didn’t do those things tonight, although I can’t confirm his toaster setting.

I might have to buy one of those.

We've got room for improvement, but we still played well enough to find a way 10 out of 11 times.

I think of them as being up only one game in the division, because if they were to lose in DAL they likely end up losing a tiebreaker because WAS and NYG let the Turds beat them like a drum — and the Eagles’ loss to WAS could mean a worse division record. It makes them vulnerable if they were to lose to Tennessee.
