Too many short fields given between the fumble, failed 4th down conversion and KO returns - for a defensive that needs a lot field position to get stops that was not good.

Ran the ball well though and we’re lethal in the RZ, not sure DAL has an answer for that.

It was too sloppy on O; they are doing well and in sync overall, but the moment you think your ish don't smell, that is when things go wrong.  The last couple of games have been too loose for me.

Congratulations on the win from a Packers fan. You guys have one hell of a team.

Good Game, The Pack put up a good fight and went out swinging hard. Mad respect for Aaron playing with all those injuries.  Jordan Love has a future with some more playing time.

It’s been a painful season.

I hope you guys have a great rest of the season and healthy as well.

Turnover free football was really nice to watch, got to get back to that … btw Miles is doing a fine job running but an excellent job with ball security, got point out some positives.

Meh, offense looked better with Hasty in the backfield.

So one game against the ravens makes hasty better. He wasn’t even better running the ball. He had 12 carries for 28 yards. It was the passing game where he did his damage. Meanwhile etiene besides the chiefs game where they got so far behind had been good for like a month. Only reason he didn’t do more damage against the Texans and Indy is cause robinson was still there taking away 10 and 12 carries in those two games (and robinson wasn’t good on those carries against Houston. He had 27 yards on the 10)

Miles has been largely very good all season; if he hadn't had a couple of up and down seasons, we'd be salivating over his season so far.  Another positive was Blankenship did ok for his first snaps and they kept pounding on the Packers with the run game.  Lots to be happy about

The big thing will be getting healthy for the playoffs. I like our chances a lot if we have our starters. Defense looks a lot better with JD, Maddox and CGJ then getting Goedert back on offense will be huge.

At least I don't feel eternal dread with Blankenship in over Kvon when CGJ is out.

Couldnt give an F about the game by game stats because how small Hasty's sample size was.

BUT, if you've watched any of the Jags games, including yesterday, Etiene looks MEH a lot, looks to be in the dog house often and yesterday the offense looked WAY more explosive with Hasty,

WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID.... my point was Etiene isnt a game breaker, or someone a team is worried about in this league so if he does miss time it'll be no big deal.

clearly you’ve watched the jags play. Did you watch when he basically destroyed Denver for 156 yards? Because he looked pretty Fing good in that game. I know you didn’t watch that but apparently hasty’s 28 yards on 12 carries was really awesome to watch in the running game. That 2.3 yards per carry was just dynamite by him. Before you go into Hasty’s passing catchimt, I was referring about Dallas weakness of stopping the run as why they need etiene

so that’s considered good and explosive in the running game meanwhile, Etiene who was averaging 6 yards per carry over a 6 game stretch it is not that good. Just to let you know over that six game stretch that is top 5 out of any running back in the league with at least 25 rushing attempts. They look more explosive with hasty even though etiene had 48, 49 and 49 yard runs in three consecutive games. He wasn’t good in September but since the beginning of October he’s been good, really good. He had 2 carries before leaving yesterday

just to drive home to point they’re more explosive with Travis etiene: etiene is 1st in the league in  40+ yard runs. He’s 6th in 20+ yard runs. And out of all running backs that qualify he’s 5th in yards per carry at 5.5.

Again Dallas has a problem stopping the run. Hasty did not look good running the ball. He looked good as a pass catcher and the ravens all year when they’ve gotten ahead in games have given teams yards in the passing game so that isn’t a shock. It’s why they have had trouble holding leads in second half of games. How does 2.3 yards per carry and no running game from hasty help against Dallas weakness? Cause I know the Jaguars offensive line if they have to throw it as much as they did in that game vs. ravens is not going to hold up against that pass rush

My primary concern there is both lack deep speed

That's considerate of you. As another poster mentioned, you guys look to be in good hands with Love, so chin up.

I see Blankenship as an in-the-box run stuffer. In spite of his great interception, the middle of the field was wide open and the Packers made plays there. Going forward it is going to be an issue. The same is true for our offense...they are not finding anything in the middle of the field...they will need to use it against the Titans.

When JD is back, it's surely got to be one of Covey or Wallace getting cut. My money's on Covey, with Scott taking on his role.

MVP easy

Does Etienne have swag?  A big thing in today's NFL world 😉

If Mahomes weren't on record breaking pace with a buncha cast off FA WRs and a weak running game then sure. But unfortunately for Hurts he's still got ground to make up there.

Again, you talk about how great he is and in your long winded love fest for him forgot all the trash he's done.

4 or 5 games with less than 10 carries. Some of which the jags were winning or close so no excuse on why to give up the run game.

The fumble agaisnt the giants that changed the whole aspect of the game.

32 yards against our average run defense

But again, and I cant stress this enough. I dont think Etiene stinks, I just think he's a JAG and no team, espicially Dallas will really care if he's in or not.

Like to think the Cowboys, there defense and Dan Campbell are thanking their lucky stars and praying to football gods to avoid Enienne is laughable to me.

He’s a jag and hasty is apparently great on 2.3 yards per carry. Got it.

you were talking about games were James Robinson was still there getting 10 or more carries. They were splitting touches with them. Over the last 4 games since robinson was traded he hasn’t had less than 10 carries until this week where he got hurt. It’s not a coincidence since robinson left his rushing attempts before yesterdays injury jumped to 19 a game and his yards per carry 6.14.

So since he was bad in September means he hasn’t been good from October onward (til yesterday where he got hurt) . Since the beginning of October, he has been good. He wasn’t good the first month and he was dealing with James Robinson taking half the touches. Since the start of October etiene is 1st in yards per carry by any back 5.8. 7th in total rushing yards by any back. He’s also 11th in the league in RB rushing yards (6 yards away from 10th) even though for the first month of the season him and James Robinson were splitting carries and he only played sparingly yesterday when getting 2 carries.

I remember he wasn’t good in September. but then I’ve watched him since october when they got rid of James Robinson and has been top Fing 8 in RB rushing yards with a bye week, missing 3/4th of a game and has led the league in 40+ yard runs and leads the league in yards per carry Over that time. That isnt a lovefest those are Fing facts

So if you want to sit here and say I forget the bad things, you even look at the good things he’s done for over 8 games. Nope had one fumble so everything he did good over that time means nothing. Good to know i guess i should downgrade aj brown then for his back to back weeks of fumbles

Exciting but not great win last night.  Highs and lows across the board.

GREAT

-Sirianni and Steichen seeing what works and sticking to it.  The running game was hitting on a different level last night and that includes called Jalen Hurts running plays.

-Jalen Hurts running. Hurts makes running look effortless at times and for the most part, he avoids taking nasty hits (goal line rib shot).  He slides and goes out of bounds at the right time.  Some of those QB draws were wide open.

-Miles Sanders.  One of the best games of his career.  If he had elite vision, he would have had 200.  Fantastic strong running from him today.  What kind of deal brings him back?

-OL run blocking.  That's all.

-Blankenship's INT.

-Jake Elliott is dialed.

-Eagles are 10-1

-Saints draft pick

NOT SO GREAT

-OL pass protection.  Mailata and Dickerson specifically.  Maulers in the run game but the left side of the OL hasn't been that great this year.  Would love to see Mailata drop 20 pounds before next year.  Loved seeing Dillard fill in at LG....maybe he can be salvaged at RG on a cheap extension?

-Michael Clay's ST unit.  From the poor coverage to Covey calling a fair catch with no one within 7 yards, this unit is trash.  Jake Elliott is the only positive.

-Tackling, wrapping up, pursuit angles.  All have been issues this year and nothing different last night.  Granted, the Packers have strong RB but it just continues to be a thorn in the defenses side.

-AJ Brown's fumbling issues.  Yes, he was sick.  Yes, he looked like terminator with one bright red eye.  Still, hold on to the ball.

-Passing game.  Not sure what's going on with the passing game as of late.  Is it the play calling?  Is it Hurts?  The back shoulder TD to Watkins was nice but Hurts ball seemed to be nose diving all night long.  Also not sure if the plays aren't being called or Hurts isn't seeing them but why does it seem that there are no throws that let the Eagles WR RAC?  Every pass seems to be a screen or a curl/comeback route.  No passes that allow the WR natural momentum to continue down field.  3rd straight game under 200 yards passing.  $100 million WR, Heisman Trophy WR, 2 first round picks & more invested.

-Tight ends.   I've been calling for a TE2 from the stacked 2023 class for some time.  With DG out, it's more and more evident how important that is.  I thought Tyree Jackson could be a poor man's Logan Thomas.  Wrong.

-Robert Quinn.

-All black uniforms and helmet.  Couldn't even tell it was a different helmet from the broadcast view.  Close ups make it look more charcoal than black.

Entienne is already worthy of the HOF.  Duh

Who said he was a HOF player? But tell me he hasn’t been good over the last 8 weeks is ridiculous. He’s first in yards per attempt over that time. He’s 8th in rushing yards by running backs.  and he had a bye week and missed practically the entire game yesterday. Unfortunate he got hurt yesterday cause even if played poorly and got 35 yards he’s top 8 in rushing in the entire league which is pretty impressive considering he was splitting carries the first month and didn’t look good. But now leads the league in rushes over 40+. But hasty because the ravens have repeatedly given up double digit second half leads and shown to have issues stopping the pass in the second half of means they are better off with hasty then the guy who leads the nfl in rushes over 40 yards and 5th in yards per rush attempts out of any back … right

OK Jeff, you're turn.  Only thing better would be these uniforms being full time.

Why did they show them demolishing the stadium at the end? If I didn’t already know it was a uniform reveal, that "coming in 2023” would have a much more sinister implication

I stopped reading after this because you have another, extremely long winded love fest for a jag.

And I never said Hasty had a better ypc then TE-JR. What I said was the Jags offense looked more explosive after TEJR left.

Now I could explain to you that the Jags really dont put rushing on top priority or that they'd be bottom 5 in the league with out Trevors scrambles account for rushes, but I promise you, The cowboys wernt losing sleep about facing TEJR like you suggested awhile back.

66 yards per game and 4 touchdowns on the season, get him gold jacket moew

Yes clearly the jags are better off with hasty. Get hasty the gold jacket cause bacarty thinks the jags offense is clearly going places with him at rb. The definition of a jag for his career. That’s the trick lol

Patriots look good.

Cant wait to see Washington's attempt at retro unis. They will probably just hand out some of the used cleats from back then.
