I get a feeling the Birds are going to have a uniform change. They already have the new watermark that hasn't made its way to the jersey yet, but is on the field and on other merchandise.

Their regular helmet is already so dark, I really didn't notice the black helmets much unless it was a close up shot. Hoping for some kelly greens next year.

He's had over 100 yards 3 times in the last 8 weeks lol. He's had under 50 yards in 6 games this season

Just stop, He's a JAG.

Yup but hasty who’s done next to nothing for his career makes the jags offense more explosive cause of yesterdays game. Meanwhile what he did he do the previous 3 weeks?  Clearly hasty makes the jags more explosive. Before the ravens game yesterday his last 3 games were 1 catch for -1 yards, 1 catch for 5 and 3 for -3 or was it his 1 run for 4, 3 for 6 and 4 for 13. So which one makes him explosive and the key to the jags offense?

Patriots look good.

Cant wait to see Washington's attempt at retro unis. They will probably just hand out some of the used cleats from back then.

Well, they totally botched their Sean Taylor "tribute".  Nike jersey, Reebok pants, no face, wires for arms and legs....it gets worse the more you look at it.

yes. thats what made me think about how they would botch their retro uni rollout.

Again, not what I said, but thank you for trying to put words in my mouth.

My point is, and always has been.... The cowboys dont give a flying F about TE-Jr.

Who says Dallas cares. What I said is to beat Dallas you have to be able to run the ball because they don’t stop the run well. Hasty doesn’t run the ball well. Guess who’s been the Jaguars best running back over the last 8 weeks and one of the better backs running the ball in the league over that time which are facts you ignore that bare it out? Etiene. So if they don’t have him it’s a problem for the jags in that game cause the cowboys pass rush is better then the ravens and will take more advantage of the jags oline.

put words in your mouth… you who specifically said

"Meh, offense looked better with Hasty in the backfield”

so want to explain that quote by you? Because there’s no where in that quote by you that specifically just yesterday better with hasty. and then going into etiene discussion makes it feel like that’s how you see it. Give hasty that starting RB screw etiene’s 6 yards per carry since Robinson’s left or before his injury yesterday the 103 rushing yards per game he was averaging without robinson in the previous 3 games…

I've been saying this too for a while.  It may have been you that shared the same thoughts when they announced the new wordmark.  Like you said, everything lines up for it.  There's really no point to roll out a new wordmark that has zero association with the rest of the teams look.  Everything from not having a Kelly Green uniform for this year after being the owner who pushed for the rule change to saying the new wordmark won't be on the jerseys until 2024 just make me think it's coming.  Had they said they couldn't add the wordmark this year because it was announced too late but they will be there in 2023 would have made a little sense....however why skip all of 2023?

C'mon, you know they pull the Sean Taylor card anytime the franchise has some bad publicity. Of course they rushed it through, just like they rushed his number retirement when it was announced they were under investigation again.

Blankenship was hittin last night

Exciting but not great win last night.  Highs and lows across the board.

GREAT

-Sirianni and Steichen seeing what works and sticking to it.  The running game was hitting on a different level last night and that includes called Jalen Hurts running plays.

-Jalen Hurts running. Hurts makes running look effortless at times and for the most part, he avoids taking nasty hits (goal line rib shot).  He slides and goes out of bounds at the right time.  Some of those QB draws were wide open.

-Miles Sanders.  One of the best games of his career.  If he had elite vision, he would have had 200.  Fantastic strong running from him today.  What kind of deal brings him back?

-OL run blocking.  That's all.

-Blankenship's INT.

-Jake Elliott is dialed.

-Eagles are 10-1

-Saints draft pick

NOT SO GREAT

-OL pass protection.  Mailata and Dickerson specifically.  Maulers in the run game but the left side of the OL hasn't been that great this year.  Would love to see Mailata drop 20 pounds before next year.  Loved seeing Dillard fill in at LG....maybe he can be salvaged at RG on a cheap extension?

-Michael Clay's ST unit.  From the poor coverage to Covey calling a fair catch with no one within 7 yards, this unit is trash.  Jake Elliott is the only positive.

-Tackling, wrapping up, pursuit angles.  All have been issues this year and nothing different last night.  Granted, the Packers have strong RB but it just continues to be a thorn in the defenses side.

-AJ Brown's fumbling issues.  Yes, he was sick.  Yes, he looked like terminator with one bright red eye.  Still, hold on to the ball.

-Passing game.  Not sure what's going on with the passing game as of late.  Is it the play calling?  Is it Hurts?  The back shoulder TD to Watkins was nice but Hurts ball seemed to be nose diving all night long.  Also not sure if the plays aren't being called or Hurts isn't seeing them but why does it seem that there are no throws that let the Eagles WR RAC?  Every pass seems to be a screen or a curl/comeback route.  No passes that allow the WR natural momentum to continue down field.  3rd straight game under 200 yards passing.  $100 million WR, Heisman Trophy WR, 2 first round picks & more invested.

-Tight ends.   I've been calling for a TE2 from the stacked 2023 class for some time.  With DG out, it's more and more evident how important that is.  I thought Tyree Jackson could be a poor man's Logan Thomas.  Wrong.

-Robert Quinn.

-All black uniforms and helmet.  Couldn't even tell it was a different helmet from the broadcast view.  Close ups make it look more charcoal than black.

Get rid of these please and thanks.

Yup, clearly limited as an athlete but he has a nose for the game. Seems like a perfect heavy safety who can get on the field in certain spots.

If its nobodies elses job then wtf are they doing?

I know he's trying to deflect away and protect his staff, but do they just get to keep Fing up without anything being done?

Then fire the special teams coach and we will blame you first.

You're right dude. Jaguars depend on the running game. TEJR is a great, amazing running back. It's a must to have him and his 4 touchdowns if they have a sliver of hope to beat the cowboys.

I mean they could go hasty as bacarty told me their offense is better with hasty so clearly he’s the key to the jags offense.

Hoping Davis is back this week, Maddox the week after, and then Goedert the following week. Good time to get our guys back.

I guess we should be rooting for the Steelers to win tonight so they can get their 4th win and move the saints to #5 overall

I just don’t think a coaching change does jack at this point. I am useless on ST production but this feels like it should partly be on Howie too.

I agree there's likely nothing a coaching change does at this point.   I also agree that some of this is on Howie.  The lack of talent at returner is a Howie issue.  Also, the team under both Pederson and Kelly signed key FA special teamers.  They haven't made any investment in special teamers.  I am not sure how much coaching is an issue except they have had mistakes in almost every phase of the game.  They have had a field goal blocked, they gave up 2 first downs on fake punts, they have given up big returns and they haven't been able to have any decent returns.  That's a lot of mistakes for a unit that should be average from a talent standpoint.

6 minutes ago, Bacarty2 said:

I said the offense looked more explosive with Hasty(and the numbers back this up) and that the Cowboys dont give a F about TEJR nor is he a game changer that is really needed to beat the cowboys

Yup more explosive meanwhile etiene has runs of 48,49 and 49. 3 out of 6 of the jags most explosive plays on the year.

he was never going to be good at the start missing that amount of time. He literally didnt play a meaningful game for nearly 21 months. He went from January 1, 2021 against Ohio State to not playing in NFL regular season game until September 11, 2022. Could be the reason he’s look better after the first month of the year.

Don’t forget they gave a free rusher on a punt

Hasty is a HOFer

Not having any good punt or kick returners is on Howie, but our kickoff return coverage and punt return coverage is for sure on coaching. You could see the holes forming very quickly and saw where the kick returner was going a few times, it was that bad.

Jags shouldnt even show up with out TE-JR. those 3 runs over the course of an 11 game season are what dreams are made of.

Cowboys 81- Jags 3.

Yup the 6 yards per carry and 103 rushing yards per game average  before his injury yesterday since the robinson trade makes him a jag.  Give it to hasty he’s more explosive. Meanwhile he has one 61 yard run and the other 24 rushes he’s averaging 2.45 yards

James hasty 100

dallas 3

Let me make this real simple. Dallas struggles against the run. hasty is bad outside of one run this year. To beat Dallas you can’t be one dimensional otherwise they’ll tee off on Lawrence and that oline. The ravens you can get away with that because that’s been a trend of theirs and their pass rush isn’t as good in the second half of games. They continuously blow leads.

I think there’s a little bit of coaching you could do. The return game I think you’re just gonna have to deal with it. But your coverage units can definitely be better with just simply coaching and guys figuring it out. There’s just mental breakdowns of guys not doing their assignment or trying to dI too much or not taking good angles to the ball or just flat out missing tackles.

It may also include who they choose to play on the coverage units

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 30

Titans 21

Smith 2tds

I'm excited for Titans/Packers. You can run on the Titans, despite what their stats say, because they use so many light boxes. They're not going to stop the run with 6 guys, so they'll have to go out of their comfort zone to stop us. I do think Vrabel will have some fun ideas.

Conversely, while Henry is good, the Titans OL is not. We should be able to control the LOS against them. Cinci whipped them yesterday. Going to be a fun brawl.
