Coach is perfectly fine.  Rodgers needs to go.

Is it? They clearly miss Adams. Even when they had him they couldn't make it to the SB

Yup, I read it a few years back and thought the same thing.🤷‍♂️

I mean I knew he had a lot of tackles but at the time didn't realize he was the eagles all time leader.

He was one of my favorite players growing up, he wasn't the biggest guy but he could hit.

Loved him and those teams as a kid. Probably would’ve hated him if he wasn’t an Eagle 😆😆

Epps continues his iron man season of taking every snap.

Brown hasn't been right between the ankle and illness, but I think this offense does a good job of sticking with what works for them game to game. Last night was the run game, so when you're averaging 7.5 ypc on the ground, you don't have to force the passing attack. They fed AJ in the PIT game and DeVonta in the first WAS game. People can talk about how they gave Brown a big deal or spent a first rounder on DeVonta and want more consistent production out of them, but the identity and strength of this team has been the offensive line and run game. That's their bread and butter and AJ and DeVonta provide an extra threat that they didn't have last year to help that aspect of the offense.

I think this weeks specifically you are going to see a pass happy offense due to the opponent. The Titans are very good against the run. So your strength is going against their strength. The week is that the Titans have is in the passing game and you can really make them pay for it with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. I would be surprised if one of them didn’t go off for 100 yards in that game. I do think you were gonna see a lot of wide receivers screens in this game. Similar to the Cardinals game. Because the Titans also have a pretty solid pass rush.

I thought they did a really good job yesterday of sticking with what was working for them. Over the last couple weeks they’ve had moments where they get away from it. If teams aren’t able to stop the run just keep doing it until they show you they can stop you. Which really bodes well when they get to that Dallas game in a couple weeks.

It's wild that we're 10-1 and still haven't really played a complete game yet and our only loss is a game that we couldn't have tried harder to give away. My biggest concern is that it seems like playcalling has regressed on both sides of the ball and we're being bailed out by talent. I'm glad we stuck to what worked last night but obviously that's not very sustainable to just trample over a team.

The passing game looks weird to me. A ton of comeback/curl routes where there's no YAC potential and the receivers aren't getting separation which at this point is pointing towards play design. We barely see uncontested catches anymore. Are we that reliant on Goedert to open up the passing game?

Regarding play calls, we have a lot on film now.  Not as easy to surprise the opponent.  IMO, having more talent should be the differentiator.

JMO -- but the reason Adams isn't there anymore is because Rodgers is still there.  Rodgers promised to have his ish together by February so that his teammates could make FA decisions by March.  Free agency opened and Rodgers was still ... being Rodgers .... so Adams made his decision and moved on to something more certain.

I think the Packers were dumb enough to give Rodgers a no-trade clause in his contract, but not sure.

I agree to an extent, but Goedert is a top 5 TE, arguably top 3. If that kind of talent gets removed from your offense I would expect there to be a struggle and learning how to cope without it. There is a huge drop in talent from Goedert to Stoll. Brown was dealing with an illness and still probably with that ankle, but he has seemed to level off the last few weeks. I'm not a fan of how they are using Smith and think they need to incorporate Pascal more into the offense. Watkins had a nice game too, but he is spotty in his performances.Would love to see them use Smith to stretch the field some more, but I also feel this team isn't that great at hitting the deep ball.

Agree on both Smith and Pascal.  Smith wasn't drafted to run curl patterns all day long.  The guy averaged nearly 16 YPC and had 23 TD's during his Heisman year.  You don't put up those numbers by running 10 yards and turning for the ball or constantly running WR screens.  Get this guy down field!!

Pascal is terribly underutilized.  He's never going to be a featured WR but goodness, he brings a different type of play and physicality to the position.  Would love to see him get the ball once in a while.

I think that will only help the Eagles in bringing Sanders back.  Plenty of options.  Ideally, I'd love Sanders back on a 3 year deal without breaking the bank and adding a nice rookie to push Scott out the door.

I think there are things the Eagles could do better like executing max protect deep shot plays.  They can also be aware of their tendency and change plays to be tendency breakers.  Talent has been the differentiator.  You're right that it will continue to be a difference maker but if they expect to beat a team like SF in the playoffs they need to scheme calls to neutralize a great front 7.

If it were my decision, I'd try to bring Damien Harris in.  He's behind Rhamondre Stevenson on the Pats depth chart, but he's a career 4.7 yards per carry and 36 catches in 44 career targets in the pass game.  5'11 and 215 lbs; he can move the pile a bit.

My only concern is Dallas setting the market by signing Pollard to a high price deal.

Exactly what I hope they do lol

Curious if Gardner Johnson out vs Tennessee might not be that big of a deal as Blankenship I think might be better suited to try and stop Henry.

i like Harris but feels like he’s always banged up. If you do that then I’d probably try to draft someone to compliment him in the middle rounds (as i think we trade back with one of those first and pick up some midround picks)

I know there's always cap magic that can happen, but Zeke has a fairly large cap hit so that might be a deterrent from them giving him a crazy contract. Imagine having over $80M in cap tied up between your QB and two RBs.

Yup, he was one of those players, hate em when he's not on your team love him when he is.

I wish pollard didn’t play for Dallas. He’s a fun player to watch except it ruins my enjoyment of watching him cause it’s for the cowboys

Sold.

The Eagles should draft a RB, I don't see any value in signing one unless one comes at a bargain. Don't waste valuable cap dollars on that position.

The line against the Titans is now at -5.5.

2023 could be the perfect year to sign a RB.  The market is going to be saturated with them and that SHOULD push the price down.  At least that's the hope.  Who knows, the exact opposite could happen.  All it takes is one stupid money contract to cause the rest to be overpaid.

It also might be the perfect time to extend Sanders before any other dumb owner sets the market.  They did it last year with Goedert and while I was against it at the time, it  looks to have been a very smart move.

I don't want to see the Eagles let Sanders walk and then because they have Scott and Gainwell, think they can rely on a 5th round RB to fill out the room.
