Doug has his faults as a coach, no doubt, but one great quality he has is guys seem to love playing for him. I’ll always greatly appreciate his contribution to 2017.

After the Amos cheap shot

I'm hoping next week AJ Brown will have a Big Game against the Titans.

Wonder if he keeps his job if he didn't choose those coordinators. His play calling decreased big time near the end though

So Lawrence is on year 1 of the several year "basically his rookie year” career stage.

It hurts to keep losing close games.

Curious if Gardner Johnson out vs Tennessee might not be that big of a deal as Blankenship I think might be better suited to try and stop Henry.

He looks to be a better tackler.  He had a nice tackle on Jones to prevent a big gain.  He also stood up Dillon on a run.

I mean Urban Meyer is a college coach.

Gannon needs to blitz more.

That’s what I believe to be his biggest fault. Too loyal to some of his personnel.

Looks like motherf***er.

There was also a revolving door at WR coach during his tenure lol

I really think the issue was Wentz more than the OC's at this point.  Wentz could not play within his limitations.  Instead of improving in the pocket.  He spent 2 seasons trying to be the MVP and play hero ball.  I think that combined with Doug not looking to tendency break with playcalling made the team more and more predictable.

Officially no, but he doesnt look like himself.

He looks good out in space.  He had a great TD run.  Defenders have had more luck going low to bring him down.

I see we gave up the most rushing yards since 1983, oh man.

That’s Doug though.  He’s not prime Belichik, AR, or Mcvay.  He’s not going to play 3D chess and beat you with a game plan.

His players will go to war for him and he makes gutsy calls.  That’s his schtick and being overly loyal is necessary for that.

We also had nowhere near the talent at WR during Doug's tenure that we do now IMO

It may also include who they choose to play on the coverage units

Grant Calcaterra should not be one of them. I'm guessing (I haven't actually noticed) that they're not using Stoll there anymore since he's now too valuable on offense. So that's why they have Calcaterra running downfield instead.  I'm also not sure that Boston Scott should be covering kickoffs either.

And I still think that Nakobe Dean has been a huge disappointment on special teams. I noticed on one of the big returns, he was glued to his blocker and the return man just flew by him.

I'm still aghast at that last kickoff. It's like the other team is laughing at your ineptitude when they decided to return the ball from deep in their endzone. It's guaranteed other teams will start doing this too.
