As a Packers Fan I’ve never minded the Eagles. You guys broke our hearts a couple times in the playoffs but you guys are cool. You beat up on Minnesota so you guys are awesome with us.

Minnesota made the mistake of thinking they could come in to our house and mess with Rocky.  Never forget.

Ouch so we go down in your record book as the team you had the most rushing yards against. That stings lol.

Put Vikings crap on the Rocky statue and shouted their Skol chant.

You Eagle fans think that Skol chant is retarded like I do? Who do you guys hate more us or Minnesota?

I find that hilarious. Did you guys tear the Vikings stuff off of it?

Don't know of many Eagles fans who hate the Packers. I actually have a fondness for the Packers since my favorite football player of all time left the Eagles to go play there, Reggie White.

And I've always loved watching Aaron Rodgers play. And Packers fans I've never found annoying or obnoxious. Green Bay is just a meat and potatoes football town with not much else there honestly, and there is no obnoxious owner who owns the Packers who always has their ugly smug mug on TV all the time.

But some argued vehemently for him being the solution to Hurts. Dodged a bullet.

I was open to a trade for him, but not giving remotely what DEN ended up giving up for him.  There are a few issues at play there IMO:

1.  Wilson's personality.  Clearly, he has not gelled with his teammates and took entirely the wrong approach when arriving there.  Having a corporate office set up for himself at the facility, insisting on way too much input in the offense, etc.  Guys see through that stuff pretty quickly, and it wouldn't have "played" any better in Philly.

2.  Poor coaching.  Wilson is a square peg in a round hole in that offense, and it certainly appears Hackett is not qualified to be an NFL head coach.  He should have charted all of Wilson's plays in SEA over the last 2-3 years and designed the offense to match what Wilson does well.  A good coach would have had that installed before training camp; I think Hackett likely just asked Wilson what kind of offense he liked and went from there.

3.  Get better RBs.  Melvin Gordon is one of the most overrated backs in the NFL and has fumbled 16 times in the past 4 seasons.

I think Hackett is just as much to blame as Wilson.  Maybe Sirianni avoids this disaster.

I never looked after he left us. Is Hicks able to stay healthy now? Wouldn't surprise me if he was

Hicks has been Cal Ripken Jr. since he left Philly; 60 games without any missed time, I believe.

4th and 26 still hurts to this day. That scarred us for life. I really thought we could have beaten Carolina in the Championship Game that year.

So did we... and frankly, I still do.

We played against him in week 2. He recorded a couple tackles and got that tipped interception.

Carolina wasn’t that good that year. We were better, you guys were better and the Rams were better too.

Tbh Hackett in his play calling and coaching has been as bad as Wilson. There’s already reports he could get fired at the end of the year. Doesn’t help they also lost Williams, jeudy and their oline stinks like last year.

Minnesota and its not even close.  No hate for the Packers.  I have a lot of respect for a city that literally owns the team.   But the Skol chant nonsense and their tough talk from a few of their lame fans pretending like they had what it took to come into our house and take over.    They got a little push back from the fans that were there and cried about it for years to come.

To quote Will Smith from Men in Black, before he lived it out on Chris Rock...

"Don't start nothing, won't be nothing."  They wanted to prove they were tough.  They proved they were soft.   We beat the crap out of them on the field that day, then went into their house and took it over while winning the Super Bowl there.

I've gone to two Eagles games at Lambeau and if you experience that place and their fans, it's impossible to have any hatred towards them other than a friendly rivalry when they play each other. Lots of good people up there who were very welcoming to me and my friends who were wearing Eagles gear.

I don't think anyone here hates the Packers unless if it's for some personal reason. On the other hand, Minnesota (their fans?) is very easy to dislike though.

Minnesota easily. For the most part, Eagles fans don’t really mind the Packers.

Over time these things can change of course.

When was this Bdawk?

It's going to be weird watching the Packers without Rodgers. Unless Love turns out to be a stud, the Packers for almost my entire life, at least since I started seriously watching football as a kid had elite QB play. Favre and Rodgers for the last 30 years basically. Their fans have really been fortunate in that way, some franchises go decades without an elite QB.

But I'm sorry, Detroit and Minny are just boring. I hate watching games in domes. Especially playoff games. There's something special about watching big games outdoors, on grass, in the elements. And there's no better stadium for that than Lambeau. So GB is one of those teams I always hope is competitive because it's just more fun to watch football when they're good.

No one has ever said "I hope the Lions are good, can't wait to watch a playoff game at Ford Field!" Domes have no personality. Even the Superdome when the Saints were great everyone talked about how loud it was, but all I know is watching it on TV it was the same as any other dome game. Give me outdoor football any day.

Once Rodgers goes, gonna be curious to see what happens to the Packers. Will they find their elite heir apparent or will they go through a rough patch?

I was born in Green Bay so I've never had an issue with the team.  It's a special town with great tradition.  Never forgive them for Bryce Paup but Reggie White got his ring there and Seth Joyner almost did.  They are almost like a college team to me.
