Vikings and Saints are the most prevalent ones with a particular disdain for the Saints still.

The Seahawks were a huge nemesis of ours for awhile. We played them 4 times in the playoffs and went 2-2. The Fail Mary game against them kicked off a bitter rivalry between our teams.

We're 10-1, guys. Yes, there are flaws offensively, defensively, and on STs, but at the end of the day, they're still bailing each other out week to week to get all these wins. Are we as good as our record says we are? Probably not, but we're not as bad as a 7-4 team either. And also not so bad as to say that losing our first playoff game is a forgone conclusion.

Are there things to improve in all phases of the game? Absolutely, but I can't really complain too much if results like these keep piling up. Do I have legit concerns that schematically, some of the things we're doing might not be as sustainable as needed to get us another ring? Of course. But I'll try to worry about that if and when it starts to happen. And until then, I'm gonna enjoy having the best record in the league.

Yeah, this is about right. We're not a dominant team, but we're a very good team that could get better.

Some holes, but every team has some holes.

Hurts has played well, but I think there is upside left, he's now played 2 full seasons of NFL QB.

Get Goedert and Davis back, and we're loaded for Bear. Blackenship gets PT to develop while CGJ is out, then you have a 3 safety rotation, CGJ is the ballhawk, Blackenship better against the run.

Nothing cause the only other team we beat

The nfc is very weak this year. Still not sure how good we are but we have a good coach and thats a big piece of it. Giants are evidence of this too.

Not convinced how competitive we would be against bills or chiefs

Bills are their own worst enemy, they can be had. KC would have to be an any given Sunday type of win.

Bucs.  Hate them with a passion.

How long does the Saturday love fest last? 2 more hours?

With a healthy secondary I think we match up well with the Chiefs. They don't run the ball well; the biggest thing is keeping Mahomes in the pocket which I'm not sure if our DL is up to.

Bills are a little harder to guess just because it depends on which Allen shows up.

IMO, Patriots and Saints.

2/3 of the SB’s this franchise has played have been against the Pats.  They got one on us; we got one on them.

While the Saints may suck and we have their 1st, there was a long stretch where they just rained on every parade we had.  Playoff games, pursuit of FAs, regular season games, you name it, they came out ahead of us.  The Seahawks deserve an honorable mention there too.

As unstoppable as Mahomes can be and as unbeatable as the Chiefs can be, they obviously aren’t undefeated this year and weren’t undefeated last year (and didn’t even get to the SB).  The Eagles are more equipped than any team besides Buffalo to take down the Chiefs.

The problem is that it requires luck, an uncharacteristic bad week for Mahomes, and for the flow of the game to minimize the Chiefs’ offensive possessions and time of possession…it has to be of those slow pace fast clock games where they score on most drives but you are somehow still winning 21-17 in the 4th quarter.  Catch them sleeping and cross the finish line.

If the Chiefs get top notch Mahomes, none of it matters.  Buffalo and Allen are basically the same situation, except with a QB that gives you the bad version of himself more often.

If it starts looking like one of those shootouts where the Chiefs will just score a TD on every drive, then you might as well have the secondary start jumping routes.  You’re giving up a TD anyway, so go for the turnover, which Mahomes has been known to do when toeing the LOS and flicking the ball around.

he was good here for a few games. Had the 7 TD game in his first go round here.

Left and sucked.

Came back, won the super bowl outplaying the GOAT in his prime.

Left and sucked again.

Not sure what it is, but theres something about Philly for him. Even though he played for different coaches during both of his tenures here, they got him to find magic no other team could ever replicate. Dont know. Hes just a philly legend and I guess thats all he was ever meant to be.

The bold is propaganda that lots of NFL fans snorted and still repeat like a parrot to this day.

He started 11 games for a dreadful Rams team. 8 of them were vs playoff teams. Brady would have been bad too.

Another way to say this is that he was just like Stafford on the 2022 Rams. (but Stafford had better targets and worse competition)

Why some Eagles fans are so obsessed with the 2015 Rams results without context is actual insanity.

In KC he had a 100+ rating and led the Chiefs to victory in both games he played. ( if anyone thinks that sucks its because they are a moron)

Vikings, Saints, Cardinals.

Outside of NFC I would say the Patriots

Saints crappy division hurts with the record, but will help with tie breakers.

Penn State left tackle Olu Fashanu told ESPN he's returning to school next year, a surprising move in NFL circles considering he is projected as the top offensive line prospect in the 2023 NFL draft.

Fashanu, 19, is a redshirt sophomore who is in his first full season as a starter at Penn State. Fashanu is 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds and played high school football at Gonzaga College High in Washington, D.C.

Fashanu established himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the country this season, with some scouts projecting him as likely a top-10 draft pick.

Fashanu said he rarely looks at social media and had no idea about his rising draft stock until teammates showed him a mock draft this season.

Fashanu told ESPN that he felt as if he has "unfinished business" at Penn State and that he's returning primarily to help the Nittany Lions accomplish bigger goals, specifically naming the Big Ten championship and a national title as two things he'd like to achieve in 2023. He stressed that the potential of the core of young talent at Penn State is appealing to him, and he's appreciative of the chemistry he has built with offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and with coach James Franklin.

The biggest rivalry outside the NFC East is probably Brady. (so Tampa right now)

2 SBs and 2 games last year including the playoffs.

I get why casual fans and Giants or Cowboys fans want to focus so much on St Louis 2015.

I have no idea why Eagles fans would.

Its like focusing on Tampa for Steve Young and wondering how SF ever happened.

I think we could see more players stay in school an extra year with NIL. The elite college football players should still want to get to that second NFL contract as soon as possible, but there's not as much incentive for mid and late round picks.

Yep.  They have a 7 game winning streak against us going back to 2011.  2008 was last Eagles win.  1-9 since 2005. Throw in the Wentz knockout playoff loss and the fact that our dominant SB winning team managed to lose to a non-playoff bound Seahawks team.

It would have meant more to beat them with Wilson still there, but Pete Carroll would suffice.  Pretty reasonable chance they travel to Philly for a playoff game this year too.

Wow, that Saints at Bucs game next week is HUGE for the draft pick.

If the Bucs win then NO is pretty much eliminated from jumping back 10-14 draft spots as a division winner.

If NO wins then its going to be an ugly fight to the top of that mess.

I think there are about 10-15 players in college football at any given time that know they will be first round picks.  The best of the rest, projected as first round picks, could find themselves as mid to late round picks with one bad stretch of play or one injury.  It makes sense that NIL money might keep guys around longer, but I think it’s a very small group of players that have a guaranteed future.  It’s a much larger group of players that think they have that and will make decisions accordingly to get into the NFL faster.
