Was it an 'offsides' call?   Such a nonsense rule.   Put a real line on the field and make it that line you can't cross, like in hockey... or an imaginary stationary line like the LOS in football... the nebulous last defender when the ball is kicked nonsense is ludicrous and encourages defenders to intentionally run the wrong way at times to draw these types of calls.

Familiarity with the scheme.  Blankenship had to work his way up the long climb for a UDFA.  First, he had to do enough to get reps in practice over other UDFAs.  Then he had to do enough to prove he warranted a spot on the PS.  Then he had to work hard enough in practice to warrant a spot on the 53.  Then to warrant being active on game day.   Wallace has been here, so he at least knew the system at the beginning of the process this year.  Was Blankenship even active that game?  I think Wallace gets the nod over Blankenship for ST, so that would explain that.
