I’m guessing sermon gets a shot in the preseason next year to make the roster. Imo Scott is likely gone so they might keep him as the 4th back. I’m also not against Mattison depending on the price. I’m for it if he comes somewhat cheap I’m not against that. He’s only 24 and only has 375 carries in his career so far.

Sermon is the player most likely to be cut at this point and moved to the PS.  Only Book has been inactive more.

If he notifies them his retirement is over what are their options?

Who, New Orleans?

A question for you guys? Do you guys think the 2002 Eagles would have beaten the Raiders had they reached the Super Bowl?

I've talked about this before on here, not recently but in the past

That raiders team was pretty good, and that eagles team was really good defensively so I'm not sure

I think that super bowl would have been a lot more close had it been raiders eagles rather than bucs as the BUCS knew all of the raiders calls and audibles and plays inside and out which Gave them a tremendous advantage.

It's a moot point though as the eagles as usual choked that NFCCG away ☹️

Harbaugh said he had a talk with Lamar Jackson about that post-game tweet.  I don't know why; I thought it was a good tweet.

Him saying it wasn't intended to degrade anyone's sexual orientation was worth a chuckle, though.

Possible. I think they’d prefer to keep him this offseason if possible to see what he looks like after an entire offseason with him and how he looks in camp and preseason

I believe the Eagles could have won.

Yeah face of the franchise probably shouldn't be tweeting things like eat a D.

Eagles most to them the year before 20-10

Now 2002 team was  better than that 2001 team in my opinion but  still that raiders team was pretty good.

Like I said definitely would have been a better super bowl than the crap fest that resulted.

I don’t want to live in a world where one can’t say "eat a D” without some sort of backlash. Anyone who disagrees can eat a fat d.

I mean people say it on here all the time but unless I'm mistaken nobody on this board is the face of a multi billion dollar sports franchise

If Jim Bob says it at the local bar no one bats an eye, tweet it as the unofficial face of a football franchise, it's not a good look

Though I imagine if Tom Brady said it the NFL would adopt it as their official motto so...🤷‍♂️

What a Swiss Army pocket knife he was and could have been.  Leonard Weaver, Ben Smith and Chris T. Jones are 3 injuries that I still wonder what could have been.

I'm still kind of annoyed about Andy Harmon's knee injury. When he was hurt, it was supposed to be a couple of weeks. Nothing too serious. He'll be back soon enough.

The dude never played again.

You're right about Chris T. Jones. He was on his way to being a good player.

Under the massive assumption that Mcnabb didn’t choke the game away…the Eagles were the decisively better team that should have easily won.

I think Taylor did OK last season.  Dean hasn't done much.  Bradley has also been quiet as of late too.

Bradley is always someone you see running around on special teams but you rarely see him actually make a play. Not a fan.

Now a guy like Kamu Grugier-Hill on the other hand...that dude was always catching the eye on special teams.

Whoa. 3 open practice squad spots?? Howies splurging on a Tuesday afternoon!

Or he's just signing Auden Tate and Mac McCain again along with someone else.
