They have everything on paper to be a great team, and really have for a long time dating back to prime Rivers. They just are always cursed with injuries and bad coaching.

...and place kickers.

They don’t even play each other this year lol

I wonder if it was an old article from a previous year. I just searched something like NFL flex game week 14. And I was like, why would they put THAT game in  prime time???

If we want a PR that just fair catches everything covey can do that.

The discussion was about how to free up a roster slot, not how to improve punt return outcomes.  Pay attention.

I used to like prime time games.  But these days... 5:30 AM wake ups are harder to do.   And the whole next day is tough.

Yeah, I live in Montana now, so prime time games are great because it’s like 6:30 start times. But 11am Sunday games are not my favorite to have to deal with. The nearest "sports bar” is a 35 min drive.

Where you at in Montana? I'm by Great Falls.

Can't you stream the games on your laptop?

That would make you Carl Weathers in this gif I’m using to show that I, too, like night games for the same reasons.

Speaking of juicing...

So I'm hearing Malcolm (for Defense) and Sproles (for Special Teams, he's already a consultant) may want to come back to play.  Wow, talk about getting the band back together.

I always like prime time games. They have that big game feel, I don’t have to use Sunday Ticket and be 30 seconds behind everyone, and I’m a nite owl anyway. But I am probably in the minority on this.

Im a night owl so I don't mind the time.  But from an NFL Sunday Ticket perspective, every non-national game increases the value of my investment there.

With kids and everything else though, night games mean I can plop in front of the TV with no distractions

Texans Browns should be the Sunday nighter this week. It’s the most intriguing game by far

I thought I heard on the radio this morning that Tony Buzby is bringing some of Watson's accusers to the game and sitting in a suite.

Going to be an absolute circus

Yeah I saw that on Twitter I think…what’s the point of that by Buzby? He seems like a slimeball

Excellent watch.

Bad Gannon coaching + bad TJ Edwards, who had another bad game. Play Nakobe Dean.

Have a read of this article my friend, with the actual participants in the game and report back. 😉

Seeing supposed eagles fans defending blatant and well documented cheating by the pats will always be amusing to me.

You're in the extreme minority. Black on Black is the cool stuff now.

Add me to that minority.. It's a meh for me. the All black was  just a change up, nothing special.

Gannon's soft defense is his MO. His defense is predicated on keeping everything in front of you, and hoping the other team makes enough mistakes to stop themselves. They only tighten up when the field gets shorter in the Redzone. Though I'm sure if it was allowed Gannon would be covering the Stands with his DB's in the Redzone.

The amazing thing is, it came with Mario 64, and you really probably needed another game for the rest of your life. Thats an all timer.

But yeah mario cart was awesome. Golden Eye multi player. Tony Hawk tournaments.

One that I dont think was as popular but was a fun time was Wave Racer, and doing that milti-player.

I had a football game that wasnt Madden, and it was awesome- NFL Quarterback Club 98 with Brett Favre on the cover. I played a ton of that when I was alone.

I have a copy of NFL Quarterback Club somewhere; not the Favre version and a Madden game for the SNES/N64.  Not idea when I bought either though

We used to play Golden Eye a lot at Uni and nearly fought over who got to play as Odd Job as he was so hard to kill.  Them were the days

03 is remembered poorly for the beginning (0-2 and 8 turnovers) and the end (Panthers NFCCG) but in the middle they were kind of awesome. McNabb was 23-2 over 25 starts from week 7 of 2003 through week 15 of 2004, Including 10-1 to finish off 2003. The 2003 NFCCG was a mess but the cheap shot injury and the refs allowing assault by the DBs (happened to Manning too on the same day) were big factors. turnovers in 2 games

The 2003 Eagles were -38 in the first two weeks and +125 the rest of the way.

Yup, that team had a bunch of injuries, not only did McNabb get hurt but so did Westbrook, Vincent and Taylor were both limping around, ike Reese played the whole game for emmons, and actually played well, add the McNabb cheap shot and it was ugly.

Even if they managed to win that game they limp Into the Superbowl as well

Winning the big dance sometimes comes down to which team is healthiest at the right time and that team just had some bad injury luck at the wrong time.

Hopefully this current team can get healthy and be healthy at the right time.

I'd say Watson the guy who was accused of sexually assaulting 26 women is the slimeball but yeah sure...

Good news to people who prefer 1 o’clock games. Eagles fandom aside I think Eagles/Giants is the better matchup but what do I know.

Giants at Eagles week 17 will be flexed to SNF so that's probably why.  Giants will be fighting for a playoff spot and Eagles for the division/#1 seed.
