Just curious do we want him dropping 20 pounds?  I thought he lost 20 pounds before the draft and went from 350 to 330 and now that would have him at 310...  Thinking guys like Vita Vea, Wilfork, etc. are better because of there sheer size

I don't necessarily buy he lost 20 lbs. Even if he did, I don't think he's around 310 as he still is noticeably larger than Cox.

My honest opinion, not that mine matters, but Davis is a freak of nature.  Any weight he loses is just going to help him be that much more quick, nimble and hopefully conditioned.  If we have a 6-6, 315 DT who can move like a DE and plays more than 50% of the snaps, damn that could be fun to watch.   The leaner he is, the better.

Also look at it from this perspective.  He could have taken his 3 weeks and let himself go.  He had Thanksgiving to deal with and such too.  I'm more excited that he put the work in.  That goes against all of the pre-draft critics who said he is lazy.

I agree with you a DT would have been better than an RB pick there. But I dont agree that Charbonnet will be there in round 3. I believe he could potentially be the RB1 in this draft. Unless he is really old like Chris Rodriguez.

I don’t think it’s possible for him to be RB1 with Robinson and Gibbs, those two are the clear favorites. It’s such a stacked RB class though
