That Marcus Mariota is the top QB in the league or battling neck and neck for that spot with Tua? That Lamar Jackson and Jacoby Bissett are respectively the undisputed 8th best  and  the undisputed 7th best passers in the NFL?

Not even close.  There are charts and stats for every aspect of the passing game.  Just because QBs named are ranked higher in these 2 statistical measurements doesn't mean they rank overall as better passers.  You're smart enough to know that!

There isn’t much to read into it other than getting a general idea of the average depth of target vs average depth of completion. As it reads for Hurts, he’s slightly below average in depth of target and slightly above average depth of completion. 

Would be a good thing so he can't help the Cowboys or any other team this year. 

 

 

Our air yards per attempt would go up if we stopped throwing these god awful WR screens that never work.

Doesnt speak to quality just how vertical they throw the ball

Thanks but it really hasn't been that bad. It's not the flu. It's not Covid. It's just a lingering annoyance. But there's no need to risk going outside in cold weather for five hours when I'm not fully recovered. I'm just playing it smart here, I think.

I have been beating the drum on how no one in their right mind gives him a boatload of money after 3 major injuries in 4 years. 2 of them on the same knee. (Lateral movement is probably terrible currently). And a head case on top of it. High risk, low reward on most likely a 3rd receiver/slot type, here on out. He will be an old old 31 next year. I was hoping Jerruh would sign him for 3 years 45M. Or even the Giants for same. He wasn't coming in cold with no training camp, to a new system and no real reps.  And making a real impact this late in the season, with that injury.

I’ve heard at least 5 predictions now on NFL Radio unanimously picking the Jets to beat the Vikings.  I just don’t see it — not in Minnesota, anyway.  I think pundits are overselling the Jets, and underselling the Vikings a bit.

Haskins is one of their better ST players.

Kansas State is scheming up so many open deep shots and have missed three of them. 

Assuming Davis won’t be activated…that’s a bummer.  Could have really used him tomorrow

I can see it although in picking the Vikings to win. They now have an upgrade in at the most important position and were previously able to get a good amount of wins despite alot of them with the worst QB in the league this season. 

Scrap the playoff TCU has no business in it bring back the BCS. The fact Bama is out for a scrub team like this that has zero shot to win the natty is embarrassing

There has to be some chart or statistic on this, but they have to be by far the worst screen team in the NFL and that sucks. They can be so effective if done right. Loved the screen game under Andy.

We were spoiled by the screen game of that era.  It was a staple of those teams.
