Especially if he's only interested in coming out of retirement for them if the Saints agree to cut him.  Also, would he even be subject to waivers?  He has way more than 4 years in the league.

Everyone, veterans included are subject to waivers once the trade deadline passes.

Unnecessary to go for 2 there.

No offense dude, but learn the rules. It’s not difficult. After the trading deadline, everyone waived has to clear waivers. That’s why people cite Deion Sanders being claimed by the Chargers that one time. Or do you think Deion’s name is being mentioned in reference to Jenkins for some other reason?

Jenkins burned his bridges here by demanding a trade / release to get out of the years he owed the team at a lower salary because he was paid up front with a bonus. He's also declined very noticeably since 17-18 and he is now retired. Oh yeah, and the whole league rules thing too.

Not even close.  There are charts and stats for every aspect of the passing game.  Just because QBs named are ranked higher in these 2 statistical measurements doesn't mean they rank overall as better passers.  You're smart enough to know that!

You missed the point, which was how meaningless those stats are to overall passing performance.

There isn’t much to read into it other than getting a general idea of the average depth of target vs average depth of completion. As it reads for Hurts, he’s slightly below average in depth of target and slightly above average depth of completion.

But note how high up both he and Mahommes are in the YAC category, which suggests that they are doing a good job of putting the ball where the receiver can advance. When you look at their average depth of target and depth of completion, that’s what the coach is calling.  While YAC factors in the skill at YAC of the receiver, it also suggests good ball placement, which goes to where QB is placing the ball.  Given that the average of the highest rated QBs for those two stats isn’t much higher than that of Mahommes and Hurts, it won’t support that neither AR or Nick have no long downfield passing game.

All that crap I talked on McCarthy's arm last week, maybe he needed that to get loosened up.  That was a big boy throw.

They replaced Ray Diddy with Reuben Frank - so the yellow notebook has been replaced by pro football reference. Seems like they are trying to go with the same formula… there’s only so much Jaws and Barrett Brooks I can take and Barkann trying to fill up the space ain’t a great solution as it gets cartoonish quick. Haven’t watched much pre/postgame live in awhile…

They replaced Ray because he retired, not cause they were tired of him
