  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Even with Jordan davis back I can't imagine this team slows Henry down unless we get up two scores somehow. Davis was already playing a small percentage of snaps before the injury, I doubt they give him a full workload in his first game back.

The offense cannot afford to get behind in this game, Tennessee is going to do exactly what Washington did. Run, run, run and win the TOP battle. The colts stopped Taylor on their own when they abandoned the run game, don't expect the titans to do so.

I'm glad they put CJGJ on IR, if we can't win 2 games without him (that should be all they need to lock up playoff berth, probably 3 for #1 seed) we have bigger issues. This gives him 4 full weeks of recovery, no need to rush him back for later games that hopefully won't mean anything. Blankenship and epps should be fine for now, and when CJGJ comes back it can be him and Blankenship.

I think it'll still be Epps, it seems like he's played well this yeat

Henry has been struggling over the past few weeks, so let's expect him to go off for 150+

No one's giving me ****, let's go people.

 That's usually a good thing...

Missed last week, family issues.

I did predict the exact score and Rodgers getting knocked out of the game...:P, no evidence though, trust me?

Tannehill is playing well and Henry is a threat every time he touches the ball.

CJG being out is a step back, but our new Ed Reed has chops and likes to hit. Will help with Henry.

His coverage skills and recognition to be seen. He read that pick on ARod pretty well, tho....one bad angle don't make a bad safety...Watson is FAST.

If JD plays, the D will be fine, maybe fine without him if need be. Suh and Linval don't suck.

AJ was seriously hurting last week, sick, blind, limited and still balled. Joe Dirt out and we schemed elsewhere.

I expect the O to show a 70/30 run /pass, designed. Ball control, keep Henry on the bench, throw when needed and Hurts will always be a threat to scramble and get that first and more because that's what he can do, and he will.

Tight early, about even at the half, Home crowd and good adjustments allow our Birds to begin to assert their will.

Special Teams don't lose it for us. Elliot 3 Fgs.

Fourth Qtr owned by the Eagles, Titans with only two possessions, can't hang, in a well-fought battle.

Eagles, with the best record in football, will emerge from underdog status.....and be recognized...

Not sure I like that but hey, you are what your record....

Give me;

Eagles   30

Titans    24

Bonus Prediction,  Reed gets his second pick. (End of the Fourth. To kill Titans comeback chances.)

It will be interesting to see how Davis plays plugged in next to Suh and Joseph.  Also interesting to see if he really did lean up. He was hovering around 40% of the snaps when he got injured so his PT was trending up.  If the DL doesn't do their job though, I don't like the thoughts of Henry vs the back 7 tackling.  Could be a long day.  If they can stop Henry though, no way Tannehill beats this team.

This is why it's good that they are expanding the CFP.

I'm no Bama fan but I'd rather see them in there over Ohio St and TCU.  Georgia will probably destroy both those teams.

On another note, I'm glad the ACC is doing away with conference divisions. Other conferences should follow.

I have no interest in seeing Alabama in a playoff with 2 losses while teams with better resumes sit home.  LSU deserves it more than Alabama, so does Tennessee. And frankly, watching the same teams year after year is most tiresome of all.  That's why the basketball tournament is so much better.  So many Cinderella stories and fresh blood involved.  There are some of the expected schools every year, but in the early rounds especially... it is so refreshing to see teams that have no pedigree taking it to teams with the top recruits.

Today is simple. Load the box and make Tannehill beat you. (He can't). Yeah we are going to surrender some open passes which will drive us nuts but it's Henry that can beat us.

In theory that should work.  Blankenship is going to be tested today if they do that.  I'm excited to see how he responds.

We really have a lot of negative expectations this week, huh?

Sounds right - but that is likely every team’s plan against the Titans, yet they win games. Loading the box isn’t very Gannon-like… I feel like we’ll have similar experience as the HOU game😬

People seem to be really scared of Henry. They forget about the things we do well. Henry has been banged up a bit too, and he might get his, but I don’t think the titans are anything but average.

they’ve owned us in the past. i took the Eagles anyway. still wouldn’t be shocked if we lost though

Contrarian prediction:

Eagles  44

Titans  27

Load the box. Leave Slay and Bradberry 1 on 1. Make Tannehill beat you. 5 man D fronts and lots of them.

Only way Titans win this game is basically gonna take the Commanders loss recipe. Whereby Eagles get terrible officiating repeatedly and turn the ball over 3-4 times in the most untimely manner. Got plenty of beef to combat a beat up Henry. Cox & Hargrave are peeking at the right time as well. Improved tackling in secondary with Blankenship helps too. Eagles take the early lead and never relinquish it. AJ Brown revenge motivator for the offense is going to be sweet here.

I agree with you to an extent.  Bama lost 2 games, both on the road, both to top 10 teams at the time, both on the last play of the game.

If TCU played in the SEC they'd have 3-4 losses at least, just my opinion.

I just want more competitive games.  Georgia will most likely destroy TCU or Ohio St.  Same with Michigan.  Bama in there would at least provide a more competitive game and I could see them beating Michigan.
