they’ve owned us in the past. i took the Eagles anyway. still wouldn’t be shocked if we lost though

Didn't realize they've beaten them 5 of the last 6.  Only game I remember was the last one where Mariota was the QB and they pulled a bunch of crazy things off to win.

Penn State has a better case than Alabama. 15 teams have a better case than Alabama.

Alabama was outplayed vs Texas and lost the game. The refs pulled some BS targeting call on a 100% no doubt safety and forgot to call the safety. They reviewed the targeting, took it away, but did not give Texas the clear and obvious safety.  The QB threw the ball just forward of sideways in the end zone to no one while in the pocket. Alabama should not be in the top 15 this year. Their OOC schedule should put them around 20 with 2 losses and earning a 3rd loss.

What's the best win on their entire schedule?  4-4 in the SEC Ole Miss? (by 6 points) 3-5 in the SEC Arkansas? (23 point blowout) 2-6 in the SEC A&M? (by 4 points)  2-6 in the SEC Auburn? PSU bet them by 29 and Bama beat them by 21. LOL

Austin Peay?  UL Monroe? Utah State? Vanderbilt?

Voter corruption / insane SEC bias is the only reason they are in the conversation.

Its fine to acknowledge that Tennessee, Georgia, and LSU were pretty good this year. Bama did not beat any of them so they get zero credit for that.

As expected

@LeanMeanGM

Since I did so well last time…

Eagles 27

Titans 21

Bonus: I’m going to go way out on a limb here and say Covey returns one 35+ yards.

Can we not do this, please?

Haha no worries, bein lazy, just shorthand. Fixed.

I will desist... :lol:

We really have a lot of negative expectations this week, huh?

20 for the Eagles 6 for the Titans

The last two weeks were 27 for the Eagles and 6 for the Packers or Colts.  38 to 4 for the Commanders game,

So a little but more negative, but not a lot more.

There’s bold, and then there’s impossible

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 24 Titans 16  with lots of running plays by both teams, they are under the 44 point Vegas over/under line

Bonus: Blankenship levels a "run through the target" hit on Henry that quiets the Nashville crowd

Expecting a Nashville crowd in Philly?

I know this is meant as a joke, but I’m wondering if fans have noticed that Covey always moves forward on returns. He is very good at not wasting time running sideways.

I’m sure haters will find a way to criticize him for that though even though it’s a good thing.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 30

Titans 20

Eagles up big before letting the Titans take one of those 5 or 6 minute scoring drives to kill the clock.

Henry gets about 90 yards of offense but 20 or so is from receiving.

He does. But it is almost getting comical at this point, where he runs right into the pile like wile e coyote. I'm sure he's not getting stellar blocking upfront. Like to seem him turn the corner more. Was watching Boston Scott highlights and he at least attempts to use the whole field and keeps his legs churning and uses spin moves for extra yards. More risk taking, but prefer that. If Covey commits one turnover, I believe that will be the straw...just a matter of time. Ha.

Kinda surprised how many people think this is going to be a high scoring game. I think it’s going to be one of those slugfest, grind it out game.

I think its because the Titans have a pretty bad pass D, have not beaten a run game like the Eagles, and the Eagles have been sloppy on some drives leading to points in the last month or so.

The helmet colors match none of these Nike jerseys around the league.

@LeanMeanGM I think it’s going to be a low scoring game. Titans are going to try to control the clock and limit the eagles offensive possessions. That’s what they want to do and how they have to win a game like this.

eagles 20

titans 23

bonus: titans win time of possession by 5+ mins

They have a bad pass D but still haven’t given up more than 20 in 8 straight weeks. Granted, they played some bad teams but did well against the Chiefs.
