My son is playing soccer this year for the first time. Scored his 1st goal on Saturday. 3rd game of the season.

We have our own little Neymar here.

Why’s he playing soccer?  Was lawn bowling registration already full?

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

Awesome! Could be a long soccer career through high school and college.

Be a good sports dad and don't forget to bring the orange slices when it's your turn for snack.

lol. Orange slices? This league is in Hazleton.  My son is 8. The coaches in this league are lucky if the kids have parents to take them home after the game so the coaches dont have to stay and wait wondering when they can stop babysitting some kid.

Bc HE lacks the genetics to produce a football player?

I think your fantasy teams are like your kid's soccer team.

I don't care about either of them.

To piggyback on this post, let's all try to remember the gentlemen's agreement we have to not discuss fantasy football here. There are plenty of places on the internet to do so, including other forums on this site.

I am preserving the genetics by not intentionally leading them towards football.

I’m willing to guess 75% of this board don’t know who Neymar is

Was that meant to be an insult? If so, why the need for hostilities?

What percentage of the defensive snaps does Jordan Davis play on Sunday?

This freshman QB from Clemson looks good.  DJ U might need to be looking over his shoulder.

Less than 40

Follow up question: Do they activate Tui?

I lean toward no, but I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Agreed that Davis plays around 35%.

Hurts literally got benched for Tua at halftime in a National title game.

And Tua got injured.

Hurts is a top runner, built like a running back,  bigger than any running back on the team.

You all seem to ignore Hurts rushing, which is up there close to Lamar's rushing.

The Eagles improved 5 wins with Hurts as the starter.

That was a point I was going to type out but couldn't find the words.  It's a different type of running QB today then it was 20 years ago when Vick and McNabb were doing it.  Both of them could pass and were stellar on the run.  So many of the running QBs today are elite athletes who need a lot of work on actually playing QB.

Was this shared yet?

All Right,  Covey on the 53.

I'd imagine Covey will return punts on Sunday. I don't think we've seen Quez or Gainwell handle punts.

DeVonta Smith also returned punts at Alabama.  Doubtful the Eagles risk him there, but he may insist by Week 3 if he’s getting two targets per game

True, I didn't even think of that as a possibility.

No.  He gets ridiculed a lot for it.

I also think around 40%
