EMB Blog: 2022 Regular Season (and beyond?) - NO POLITICS

When Hurts wins the MVP I want 2 things.

1 - have John Mellencamp playing at the awards. (too easy)

2 - have Kurt Warner give out the award  (last MVP to win the SB)

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

I'd rather Hurts NOT win MVP.

When's the last time a regular season MVPs team won the SB?

14-3 or 15-2 is a real possibility.  Really need a Minny and Dallas loss soon.

Kudos to Nick, Hurts and all.  Hurts best game passing.

💩

Not a bad day for Eagles Saints pick. Raiders, Steelers, Browns, Lions won. Four 4 win teams won.

If Hurts wins MVP, his contract might be 60mil AAV

If the Saints lose tomorrow. I'm very skeptical of that. They're getting healthier while TB is banged up.

Nice thing is, nobody but the fans seem to care about that.

Individual awards are off their radar, according to all player/team comments.

Kelce HOF, Hurts MVP, AJ OPY, and on and on...

Love the vibe, Team first.

"Ain't won nuthin, yet"

And the Eagles will laugh in his face.

He deserves a contract, but come on now.

Either the QB salaries are going to slow down or the salary cap needs to go way up. One of those eventually has to happen. This is unsustainable.

If the eagles can get through the next 2 games and beat the giants and bears they could lose to Dallas but still win the division and get the 1 seed if they beat the saints and giants at home week 17 and 18

They will, they suck.

The Bucs may not be great anymore, but the Saints are legitimately a really bad team. People seem to not think of them in the same category as like the Bears, but that's what they are if you watch them week to week. They're really bad.

If he is league MVP in his 2nd year as a starter, it’ll be hard to laugh in his face. And if he manages to win a SB this year as well. You might as well put the money in escrow already.

Everyone was rooting for the Dolphins and Rams. I’m glad both lost. I don’t want all 4 East teams in the playoffs. So overall today went great for the Eagles. Just need a Cowboys and Saints loss to finish the weekend!

@LeanMeanGM

So glad I traded you Burrow.  FML

Hey man. Thanks for letting me improve to a respectable 5-8 and be better than @HazletonEagle

Sean Payton is gonna have fun with Herbert next year. This Brandon Staley dude absolutely blows as a coach.

That was a Super Bowl team performance.  We had a few of those back in 2107.  This is the perfect time of the year.  Another one next week would do the trick.

If he's asking for that much, I hope they trade him.

He's playing great, but not $15 million per year better than Mahomes great.

If Gannon gets a head coaching job next year, it's assumed his replacement will be Fangio, and it might be, but I wouldn't rule out Staley when he gets fired. Lurie was infatuated with him and wanted him as the coach as his #1 target before the Chargers hired him. And as a DC with the Rams he was very good. He also fits that "young and forward thinking" profile Lurie likes.

They just need to make sure to win the next two.  If they go can into Dallas 13-1 then it really won't matter if they lose that game as long as they win their remaining two after that.  They can only afford one more win the rest of the schedule and that is against Dallas unless they drop one before that Christmas Eve game.

I hate Chris Collinsworth’s son.  Only because he sounds so much like Chris Collinsworth.

Now there’s a guy who sounds like Chris Collinsworth.

These jokes right themselves.

Hoagie mouth.

Fine by me too. I'm all in favor of a team that can adapt to an opponent and beat you multiple ways.

That speaks to the coaches more than the players

There is no way they trade him in that scenario. There's not a single GM in the NFL that would trade a 24 year old QB who won the MVP and SB. At that point you suck it up and pay him.

Add on void years to contracts like you're Enron circa 2001.

Might have to go 15-2 to get the 1 seed. Minnesota has at lions, vs. colts, vs giants, at Gb and at bears. I’d say i can see them losing to the lions or Gb but somehow they have a ton of luck on their side this year.

Could use Dallas to lose. If they somehow win out and If we lose 3, don’t beat Dallas in Dallas and there’s a tiebreaker with divisional record being the thing that decides it. Dallas would have a better divisional record at that point. I kind of think Dallas stumbles after that eagles game against the titans in tenneseee or at Washington
