The counter point is that he's more likely to be a first round pick this year given the number of QB needy teams vs. next season.  It's not like his stock is necessarily going to get any higher by staying in college.

Staley and Hackett are pretty much mortal locks to be fired within 24 hours after the regular season.  I doubt either will ever get another head coaching job for as bad as they've been.

I think they are playing a 300lb NT - just imagine choosing to have Marlon T as our starter there (basically the same scheme as ours).

They actually have a good chance to win the division if they beat TB. At 5-8... That's sad to think about. The Bucs also play the Niners and Bengals the next two weeks so the likelihood of them losing 3 in a row is high if they lose tonight.
