When was the last time we had a 1000 yard WR? Maclin 2014?

DeVonta only needs 289 yards in the last 5 games and we’ll have 2 this year

Brady is going to the playoffs probably with a losing record or .500 record.  Wouldn't be shocked.

I literally never went to that Waffle House and I lived two minutes away from it for 5 years lol

I robbed a waffle house once and didn't even look at the menu.  Just took the money, punched C5 on the Juke Box for Behind Closed Doors by Charlie Rich, kissed the 58 year old waitress hard on the mouth 'til her knees (arthritic) buckled and strolled out the door.  I'm a winner, baby.

More like breakup and then having to watch some other dude have sex with her.

That other dude is me.  Cause I'm a winner, baby.

It's been fun getting to root for teams to suck the last couple years. I hope Howie can get another 1 in 2024 so we can do this one more time

Yeah agreed. Especially when those teams suck!

At least we got that second. Good enough for me! 😁

Pretty funny that none of the teams currently in the #3 to 5 draft slots own their own pick. Totally a lost season when you’re terrible and don’t even have a prime pick to look forward to.

Cautionary tale for trading away future 1s.   Only the Rams have anything of worth to show for it.

I think the biggest difference is the rams were already a strong team before they did it. Denver hoped they’d become one, as did we…. But I have no idea what the Saints were doing.

Denver at least holds the 49ers' first... top 20, but not top 5.

I went to bed when it was 16-3. Woke up to wonderful news. :flex:

No idea how the Saints get up for their remaining games. They were jacked up for this game. You could tell that they were flying around. Now? Some guys are definitely going to let up.

We can certainly hope.  But every year, teams with nothing to play for down the stretch manage to win games they likely shouldn't.

Wonder if they'll start tanking.

Oh wait its our pick

Incorrect, you need to start thinking bigger picture....by tanking, their 2nd round pick moves up higher which is needed as that is their first pick!  So...... 🙂

They won't finish 0-4, but there's no way they're going 4-0 now either.

The big thing this time of year is seeing which veterans are not coming back from injury. Lattimore had a serious kidney issue (similar to CGJ) + 2 broken ribs (unlike CGJ). Why should they bring him back? They probably will. We'll see how smart the Saints are protecting their guys. Same logic applies to their guys like Peter Warner and Erik McCoy.

Looks like we need either the Falcons or Panthers to come up big. Assuming the Saints lose @ Eagles and @ Browns...even though Watson's play has me a bit worried for that game lol. A few of the teams that we need to get wins will also have a bye week with the Saints, so not much opportunity to gain separation. If the Saints are able to go 2-2 in these last 4 games then its looking like the pick will be around #12 or so.

I'm greedy though... I want them to go 0-4.

I'm pretty stoked right now. I spent about two hours tonight just cursing at the Bucs and Brady, as well as all the Eagles fans who have been assuring me all year long that we have nothing to worry about with the Saints, that there is no way they're going to win that stupid, lame division. I was convinced that the Saints were going to win tonight, and even predicted early on that they'd win by more than ten points. And the game was disgusting, as disgusting as I had predicted. So when the Bucs punted down thirteen with about seven minutes to go, I turned off the television and decided to do some paperwork for about twenty minutes.

I run a football pool for family and friends, and every Monday night or Tuesday morning, I have to tabulate all the results from the week and then prepare the new sheets for the coming week. It's sort of tedious but I don't mind. I decided that I would simply mark the Saints off as the winner of the game, and figured, "what the heck, if the Bucs somehow come back and win this thing, I'll be happy as hell to spend another twenty minutes re-doing all of this work." I've played that game a few times over the years and it's never worked out for me.

So when I was all finished, I decided to check the internet for the final score and discovered that it was actually 16-10 with more than a minute to go. That seems interesting, I thought. But I figured that the Saints probably had the ball and were running out the clock. Lo and behold, when I turned on the television a moment later, the Bucs not only had the ball but were at about the fifteen yard line with about twenty seconds to go. Naturally I stayed glued to the set, not really expecting a victory (and a total re-do of all the paperwork I had just done) but certainly hoping for one. And then it happened. Damn, that's sweet. Not quite the same as a joyous Eagles win, but pretty damn sweet.

At this point, it seems almost impossible for the Saints to make the playoffs. And a top ten pick seems almost assured. Nice.

You shoulda listened to me in the first place ;)

Under game snaps interesting that Suh was listed as a DE.

I think on Gannons 5 man fronts he's a good fit there where sweat can stay on the edge instead of trying to two gap.

Sweat had a game and suh at DE gives the front a lot more bulk to contain the run  as well.

S ain’ts have to be down after that loss.  Absolute control of the game with six minutes on the clock and unable to finish.  Hope that carries over for the rest of the season.

The Saints suck and the Bucs too; that ending was a pearler for anyone who dislikes the Aints.  They blew it and that draft pick looks sweeter and sweeter.

Wow, turned that game off in the 2nd half when it looked like the Bucs were done.

The Vikings are 1.5 point UNDERDOGS at the 5-7 Lions this week.

Worst 10-2 team ever.
