He gave his great WR a chance to make a play and hit him right in the hands.  It wasn't a bad pass.   Hurts had 3 TDs that Washington game. Can't look at that Washington game and say Hurts played bad because he didn't.

It was a good pass but a bad decision to throw into coverage.  I didn't say he played bad. I said he had a role in the loss.

I agree with your bolded words 100%.  Your choice of Davis Mills is an interesting/strange one.  Mills is the 30th ranked NFL QB with a QB Rating of 78.1.  That is a far cry from either 89.9 or 94.24.  There are seven NFL QBs whose QB Rating falls between 89.9 and 94.2.  They are Lamar Jackson (91.1), Daniel Jones (91.2), Tom Brady (91.6), Derek Carr (92.1), Justin Herbert (92.3), Aaron Rodgers (92.4), and Trevor Lawrence (92.8).  If you had chosen one of those seven for your comparative sentence rather than Davis Mills, you would have been using a much more valid comparison, but your negative biases overruled your good sense, and instead you chose Davis Mills as your comparison.  Perhaps you should stand in front of a mirror and reconsider your objectivity.

Time's yours.

I wouldn't expect Minshew to want to come back. He'll likely go somewhere that drafts a rookie and has an open competition ala Mitch Trubisky.

I think the jets make a lot of sense if Mike white crashes back down to earth. I also see a team like New Orleans as i think Jameis is gone and Dalton isn’t the answer either. Plus they don’t have a first to address the position.

It’s pretty hard to be honest. I’d probably go dolphins but chase when he’s healthy i think might be the best all around WR of the group.

When a QBR of 89.9 with no interceptions, or a QBR of 94.2 with one interception is a "bad game" I think the person using that evaluation criteria is more than a bit pessimistic.

Just as a point of order: Passer rating is different from QBR.  Passer rating was 89.9, his "QBR" was 51.5 - Arizona.  Washington passer rating 94.2 and QBR was 76.5.

Checking the NFL Draft buzz website, and it lists 40-yard times for Zach Charbonnet as 4.41 and Bijan Robinson at 4.49.  I like Charbonnet a lot, but he's not winning a foot race against Robinson.

Brown and Smith could have a lot more yards if we took out the QB runs

Janarius has pretty good speed, but he isn’t a 4.5 guy.

I am not sure but I don't think that's how those stats work. You must be using advanced analytics.

Hmm, not sure about Diggs. When looking at MVP, you have to ask what the team would be without that player. I think Buffalo is still a 4, maybe 5 loss team without Diggs. As great as he’s played, they would have found other ways to overcome circumstances; they’re too good not to.

But Jefferson is a good thought. Minnesota probably doesn’t have less than 6 losses without him, at least a 4 game swing. They lose to the Commanders, they needed him to beat Detroit, absolutely lose to Buffalo, the Saints game he was really the only reason they won…

One other name I think fits that description is Tyreek Hill. I believe he’s 100% the reason Tua is slinging the ball like he’s been this dominant his whole life. I really don’t think they’re a playoff team without him. And it doesn’t hurt he’s having a historic season.

Its been never since a wr won the mvp.

Calvin Johnson had 122 catches, almost 2000 yards  and only got 2 votes.

Fortunately or unfortunately mvp is now a QB award unless we see something absolutely ungodly.

And even then it'll be close

Jefferon has been very, very good this year and there is persistent media buzz around him.  It helps that he plays for a better team than the Lions were when Megatron was there.  I don't see many other O players that can be MVP at this moment.  Josh Allen maybe, but not a big case and Burrow could be in a few more weeks time after beating Mahomes.

Pulling them from deep in their rear ends I would guess.  I'm not sure how much longer teams/fans will value estimated 40 times anyway; it's becoming easier to measure players' speed from game footage now.

Good point of order.  I was referring to QB Rating, the long-established passing-only measure.  My bad in shortening QB Ratinmg to the acronym QBR.  To your point the QBR for Davis Mills is 29.7. See my follow-up comment below

I could…. I could also get Chinese food then try to go to the Bucs/cards game to see an elderly man kill birds

Insteresting

They waived S Andre Chachere: The Eagles now only have three safeties on their active roster in Marcus Epps, Reed Blankenship, and K'Von Wallace, with Chauncey Gardner-Johnson on IR.
