You may be right.  I prefer using the SOS of the games played to date.  There is a lot of projection in the Tankathon method.

To a point. Once we're this late into the season, it's pretty good. Ratings within 0.05 are very fluid, but it will not matter at all in the extremes.

Florio’s newest schtick is uncalled holding in comeback wins.  There is uncalled holding on every play, both defensive and offensive.  Guess he won’t be happy unless there is a flag on every play of the game. There is holding and blatant, play impacting holding. The latter is easy to see.  The latter you can see with TV closeups and slow motion but is pretty hard to spot down on the field.  Hopefully the NFL ignores Florio’s rants.  I do wonder if his rants aren’t closing up his sources.  He doesn’t break many stories anymore.

No there isn't.  Right now, the Tankathon method includes the Eagles' current 11-1 record in the Saints' SoS.

Not including it would be misleading and create a sudden shift in the Saints' Sos after week 17.

Really looking forward to seeing what becomes of the young man in Chicago, Justin Fields. I remember certain folks saying he and Jalen were similar prospects during the 2021 draft process and that’s turned out to be generally accurate except that Justin has some extra ridiculous physical ability.

Plus, aside from some…unfortunate…press conferences, he sounds like a good leader as well.

The only question I have is his drive to win. Jalen took a team to the playoffs under similar circumstances.

He stinks. He's the knock off version who gets hurt more then Lamar Jackson.

You cant sustain running the ball like, and he's one of the worst throwers/passers the leagues ever seen.

He has no weapons. His running is their only offense. Look at Hurts and Tua... you gotta give young QBs weapons.

They've done their best to hurt his development in Chicago.  At least they made that trade for Claypool to finally give him someone on offense. We will see going forward but that isn't a franchise I trust to develop a QB.

Yup - if we go CB later I like Emmanuel Forbes; Mississippi State has recently produced CBs who have contributed right away as they run a mix of coverages (a lot of zone) and play top competition.  Dantzler and Emerson went in the 3rd recently - neither of them had particularly great hands, Forbes has 6 ints this season.

I don't think we're going to see the Eagles draft secondary in Round 1; just hasn't been their philosophy even when the roster has been starved for DB talent.

Their M.O. is to build talent in the trenches, WR, or QB in the first round.  Without any current need at WR or QB -- it's either trenches, or trenches.

They were connected to Jaycee Horn, but yeah their MO has been fairly transparent.

The quality of the players around him is going to be a challenge for Fields.  No Stoutland either.

Mooney and claypool aren't bad, kemet is a big target that can be a security blanket over the middke and Montgomery and Herbert are a great 1,2 punch at RB.

Does he have as many weapons as hurts?no but not many teams do.

I think fields has a ton of athletic ability and I'm not sure he gets to the point he can succeed from the pocket, we'll see.

Everything I've read is that Chicago likes Carter over Will Anderson

In fact the way that it keeps shaking out, I truly believe we get Will Anderson....which is insane

Lions Texans will grab  Stroud/ Bryce Young

Someone moves up for Anthony Richardson or Will Levis

Bears will take Jalen Carter

Levis was pretty average this year and Richardson is a RB playing QB but the league is so QB centric and starved that these two pretty average QBs probably go early.

Save him for that big return match against Washington, Daboll.  Win or lose this week, a loss next week to WASH likely does the Giants in.
