I see what you're doing. However, if the Eagles try to force the ball to Boston Scott because of past success against the Giants rather than continue to feed Smith, Brown, Sanders I'd be pissed.

Ultimately comes down to your board. If a cluster of similarly graded guys is there and you can still get one after trading down, nabbing that extra 1st+ is incredible value. Trading down from #6 in 2021 set the table for AJ/Devonta.

Trading down, over time, is going to win out. Yes, sometimes you miss on great players, but you'll win more than you lose.

I'd also be disappointed if they don't at least try to get Boston involved at some point to see if his Giants success would continue considering how his raised level of play against the Giants is  a very real thing.  8 TDs and 545 total yards in 6 career games against them.

Agreed.  But we already have a sense of this year's board.  There are two premier DL prospects at the very top, with another 3 likely going in the top-10.  We have a major need going forward at DL.  So we are having this discussion in that context.
