Wouldn’t the coaches want to watch film on the potential returners?  Just a little mixed focus thrown in might be reflected by such misdirection.  I doubt any of this gives much advantage but who knows where a sliver might matter.  Whole preseason, with vanilla playcalling is aimed towards some hiding of information.  With teams coming out rusty in the first game, the misdirection is seeking any sliver that might be available. Unlike most of the starting offense and defense that have had all offseason knowing who the likely starters were, STs are finalized two weeks before the start of the season.

Sean Payton will be the new HC for the Cowboys before the season is over. Wouldnt surprise me if talks are already in the works under the table between Jerry and Payton's agent.

They're also left with Bowles as head coach after Brady forced Arians out, after Brady tried to skip to MIA.  If I believed in the Saints I'd predict Tampa to miss the playoffs ... but I don't believe in the Saints either.

Starters haven't played in a month.  It's on the road, Lions should be hyped to start the game also looking for revenge but that only carries you so far.  Eagles were up only 7-6 to the Falcons last year before they scored a TD with 2 seconds left in the half and then went for 2.
